It's back. This time on FM24. The DOF save sees us take the reigns at Paris FC, but in this save we'll be taking on the role of Director of Football / Sporting Director only. We'll be handling the recruitment and contracts, and crucially, the appointment of a head coach that will run all matters on the pitch. The objective of this save is simple. Topple PSG and become the best team in France.

The question is do we praise clayts the DOF for the signings. Or do we praise Guti for picking the right players for the right spots with the right roles
Both.
If a club has a sporting director hes the reason someone gets signed so its their good or bad work.
At the same time the manager is the reason why those player work/ do not work.

I feel like, as an Easter Egg for the Claytmunity, that we need to actually see WatchingMan whenever he's mentioned.
I am french and I support a club in ligue 2. Knowing very well the eco-system of French football and our struggles, I am under shock to see such a good squad. That's a dream squad for any team right now in Ligue 1, even Lyon now would get it without any doubt to replace the squad they have. It's hard to believe Anthony Martial would join Paris FC in ligue 2 to start with, same with Payet due to both being former Lyon and Marseille player. Then ofc Payet would not accept to move back to our country (media and supporter treatment, enjoying Brazil now). Lafont and Restes are such good goalkeeper that it seems impossible for both of them to come and not be the main starter. Bayern Munich per example is right now scooting for Restes. Gusto... a loan to a promoted team is a bold move from him, knowing the relationship he has with Lyon supporters. They would not like it. Overall I love your squad and it will definitely be a top performance this season, but it makes me think that FM engine is not correct, for a simulation I don't see how it would happen in real life. But great job! Beating PSG is near impossible, but if you can beat Marseille you would win the heart of Paris people.
I love how Junior Kroupi's shirt says "Kroupi Jr" which implies Junior Kroupi Sr is his dad.
It actually gets funnier... Junior is one of his middle names. Eli Junior Kroupi. His dad, Eli Kroupi, was Lorient main striker in the 2000's. Except, Eli wasn't the actual dad name, only a surname. So the son is technically not even a Junior at all.

Hey Clayts, I really like this DOF. I tried it myself, but I'm not that good in it. Due to the coach is doing misierbly. What are your instructions, when going on holidays, do you have other instructions for team cohesion etc? And can you show once how you simulate. We mostly see just the results only. I mean are you using a simu app or go you on holidays?

Signed Jair before with my portsmouth save and omg you onto a star right there train him and maintain his injury free through the first year and after than one best brazilian DC can play most roles when he develops
I really like the look of him, worried Guti isn’t going to play him enough but we’ll see!
@@Clayts I had him from about same time, as Portsmouth as I said in premiership and Saudi teams wanted him I had him on 120 mill release clause. I just watching the update and when you started talking about Jair I was curious if you had replied so when I went and checked and seen you had thought only fair I reply also.
As a sub and cup player he progress fine his adaptabilty was great in my save and he loved the big games.
To be be honest I end up pairing him with Daniel another brazillian and then had Segio Gomes on the WBL and WBR was a youth player that came out the academy.
Honestly if can get Jair for anything less than 5 mill you wont complain.

How do you make yourself a Director of Football on football manager 2024?
You become the manager. Sack the DOF ... Hire an Assistant manager and hand all roles not associated with the signings or contracts then holiday between transfer windows (also holiday for the day of the matches during the transfer window (so you don't take charge of any matches);

Sorry if I sound annoying but the way you pronounce gloukh is very wrong. The closest way to the real pronunciation is more like gloh. Again sorry if I sound annoying love the series anyway
