    I love your videos and these edgings are really useful❤ I used to have a knitting machine years ago but struggled to learn how to use it. I really want to get another now.

    I’m finishing up two of your pinwheel baby blankets. On one I picked up stitches around the edge and did a little three row garter stitch. Whew - it’s a lot of stitches! I’m trying this 4 square edging next. Your videos are so helpful- each one is an excellent learning experience for a knitting machine newbie like me. I do make plenty of mistakes, but as a weaving teacher once told me, if you don’t make mistakes you don’t truly learn. Thank you!

    I'm trying this this morning. I machine knitted a baby blanket last night for my cousin's baby. I was playing around with different crochet edges. Yet I really like the edging you did here. So I'm going to go with the smaller edging you did here. Thanks for sharing!

      On the corners, just before and after the corner, crowd the edging. A very good edging for your first one, and especially on baby blankets, is the worm edge, which I teach on UA-cam at the end of this blanket video, here ua-cam.com/video/RVp0qM1Qsck/v-deo.html

    I have done this edging all around an afghan. It is really pretty and appreciate you sharing it. But now I at my last group of stitches and I have a problem and a question. The problem is I only have two stitches left on the afghan to pick up. What do I do? The question is do I sew the beginning of the edging to the end of the edging? I hope you see this and thank you for your help.

      Yes, pick up three (squeeze them in) in that last spot. And, when you finish, do some waste yarn rows, then sew the last bit down to match the rest as best you can, then unravel the waste.

    Thank you for the video. Could you please tell me how you make the corners?

    • @dianaknits
      @dianaknits  2 роки тому

      With virtually all edgings that are added later, you simply crowd the stitches you pick up at the corners so there is a little extra fabric to go around the turn.

    Can I use Mandala lion brand yarn for my lk 150 knitting machine

    • @dianaknits
      @dianaknits  3 роки тому

      Lion Brand has a lot of different versions of Mandala, and I don't know about all of them. If it's a group 3, you can use it on every needle. You might have to go to every other needle for Group 4. I would NOT use a group 5 or bigger on the LK150.
