they intentionally did that for every comeback since 2019. they used different instrumental than the actual songs but made it like one song for that mashup so we didnt really get spoiled about how the actual songs sound later, i think its just to raise people's expectations. my fav track so far is !!!

The mashups are their own Stray Kids genre at this point. A lot of us Stay think they should use the mashups as a track on the albums. They're so good! They somehow manage to give you a full sense of the feel of the album, so you understand the vibe and direction, while also managing not to really give too much away about the individual songs. If i go back now and listen to some of their previous mashups, it's an entirely different experience after knowing the albums so well.
I think it’s semi actual instrumental..beat and rhythm and sound vibe- but to not spoil complete they likely tweak slightly. It’s a great teaser of this album …and it’s just a mini album at that! Literally Stray Kids is like..their own genre lol😂

Sorry to kill your hopes but most likely that base is not in the original song 😢 they do this to make it sound like just one song, you can see examples of the previous mashups, they are doing this since IN life era. Maybe some sounds are repeated in the original song but not as shown here, I really recommend you see the previous ones, that way you will understand how they create this mashup

The mashup is for the new mini album coming out on 19/7 which is SKZ come back date, SKZ has also dropped the dates for a world tour as well.
