    Can not spot any Swastika or cars younger than 1929. I think the film is from the twenties, not thirties.

    A thorough and splendid read, In The Garden of Beasts, Erik Larson paints a vivd picture of life in and around the Tier Garten from the eyes of the US Ambassador during Hitler's rise in the 1930's.
