Punk records being destroyed is a great theory and would make sense because its foreshadowed by the Gorosei/Kizaru when they said its among top 3 things they want to protect
This saul discussion at the end was probably one of the most interesting and respectful display of different opinions ive ever listened to in a onepiece Video - Good stuff
@zmp323 IF we get that arc and it's fantastic, it might be my new favorite One Piece arc because I always loved the concept of the Davey Back fight and it would be a good way to get Long Ring Long Run some more notoriety as that is a very underrated One Piece arc. Also, it would be really fitting considering Luffy is now facing Shanks as his equal being an emperor, and would be Shanks' final test to see if he's capable of being pirate king with the Rio Poneglyphs on the line.
Everyone forgets that Bonney said her aging powers on living things is very temporary...instead there are so many theories crafted where it relies heavily on her aging being a permanent thing
I would love for Smoker (revolutionary) to take the role of Dragon and stop a marine (Akainu) from killing a pirate (Luffy or Zoro). Smoker saving Luffy would be ironic & impactful, since in Logue Town he was actively trying to kill Luffy. But now he stops the guy who literally hates pirates the most from killing the king of the pirates. If Smoker saves Zoro, he'd repay his debt to Zoro, since Zoro saved Smokers life at the end of Alabasta.
Does the Stella care about the satelites emotionally? We've seen him cry over Sentomaru and Stussy but I don't recall hum caring about the Shaka's death except for shock unlike Lilith the "evil".
Ors getting his foot cut off Kuma getting his foot cut off . And this chapter has a had a lot of gaints from robot to luffy to vega force and so on . I am probably jumping loops too much . But that's fun
Oda has always sacrificed story to hit math. It’s why I’d argue that he is actually really good at broad planning but does not care for smaller aspects of the story. If his broad plan says he needs to do this thing he will do it story quality be dammed.
@mrbubblea6468 I’d say it goes to show his lack of flexibility. Which is sad because the supernovas were a last min edition and yet his results on then have been mixed. While I still find Oda to be a very solid writer, I find my favorite writers are the ones who have the in depth planning but are flexible and account for the small details as much as the big stuff. Stories are like clocks. They have many cogs to them; some bigger than others. But all need to work well for the clock to properly function.
It’s definitely a compulsion for him at this point. I’d say him doing what he did to Wano just wanting to end exactly at 100 chapters is a perfect example because we had SO MUCH to get from Wano but he pulled the plug way too early.
Morj is wrong. The Will that Robin inherited isn't Sault--it's Olvia's and the other archaeologists. They're the ones who wanted to discover the true history, and they're the ones criminalized for it. Saul is a good guy, but he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and still made the best of it; he's not Robin's mentor and if anything, he inherited the Will of Ohara along with her.
hi randy, i wanted to drop a suggestion for ya :) would you ever consider uploading your videos to spotify as audio content? i love listening to your videos whenever i’m driving or doing work at university, especially these longer streams. thanks anyways, loved the stream
we’ve seen genetics’ different ways in op. regarding robin and luffy being related, olivia’s hairs is white or silver and i wonder who robins dad is that her hair is black and not like her moms or if that matters
Yeah, I'm more with Morj on the Saul thing. I don't think whatever they have Saul do is going to be worth taking that element away from the flashback. Like what is he going to do that they couldn't give to another character? Well see
I always thought it’d be cool if Lafitte’s devil fruit was a chimera zoan. Then he could transform into different animals, he’d have a form for any scenario
Are there any Kuma anniversaries coming up? Because that would be a great time to drop the rest of his flashback. I'm also hoping for some Franky focus because he's in desperate need of an upgrade. P.S. The Math Piece adds up for Bogard with his focus in the live action if that counts. Supporting the strike so you can cover it someday ✌️
Yep! There was roughly 16 years between the Black Maria fight and her fight with Yama in Skypiea. That's what I was making a reference to there, I just didn't mention Black Maria by name. I just wanted to see ANOTHER Robin fight.
jinbe vs greenbull sanji vs kizaru zoro vs fujitora (yeah, i think fujitora will battle a strawhat anyway regardless if it's for the government or not)
Actually if kizaru is beaten thin arc than there's no way kizaru will be back, the chances well have another round of admirals is very high. Mangellan for example, his portrayal was pretty much of an admiral back the day, if he comes back with haki, we have an admiral. And fujitora, he is very likely to be trown off because his morals aren't coonpatible with the future conflicts we are going to have, so, or mihawk slays him because this character desperatily needs a hype up, moreover they might face each other because fujitora always had a grudge with the Shichibukai, mihawk may be the cause of it years ago
As possibly theory breaking as math piece is, and knowing that oda allegedly has ppl read popular theories for him and reports them to him and then subverts expectations bc he does not want an obvious outcome for his story, I think these recent post wano anniversary parallels ala mathpiece, are more for the sake of him being able to do them in the story right now, running his 1k+ numerology victory laps, and he's going full tilt, not worrying about the potential obvious character connection theories in a chapter right now. We won't know exactly what will happen in these ch, but concerning "mathpiece" numerology for the next bunch of ch and into elbaf, does give us very good insight into who will be involved and possible story beats, but I don't think oda cares if that's predictable right now and I would love that to be true. All that to say, the scaffolding that mathpiece does reveal, is the kind of thing Oda would allegedly try to subvert, because it is so revealing to his intentions, which is also to say, utmost props to you Randy, for connecting these dots.
Sanji vs Green Bull makes more sense since Sanji is Sanji, we all know his gag and Green Bull is the person who would only eat when a beautiful girl would feed him. Green Bull might find Nami or Robin attractive and go after them but Sanji wouldn't let that happen.
Randy you were saying the algorithm wasn’t workin for you….You should call it something other than “Math Piece” maybe? People don’t like math. So they aren’t clicking. Maybe call it Nostradamus Piece or One Parallels?
Robin's backstory is not even top 5 for me personally. I'd have Sanji, chopper, brook, law, big mom in specific order over robin's. What makes robin's interesting is that it sets up a lot of lore and we see younger admirals and stuff like that. plus it leads into one of the best arcs in the story so i'll give it that
It's a great backstory that ONLY works as a fan, understanding the pieces involved. Whereas I can show anyone Chopper's or Nami's with no context, any they'll be able to appreciate it as a standalone story
I'm fairly sure that the final form of the Seraphim will have them be the approximate size of the giant shadows of the Shandorians from the start of Jaya. It be amazing foreshadowing of giant angels as end game opponents. Not to mention the Seraphim thus far currently incorporate every scientific wonder we've seen thus far (Cloning, artificial devil fruits, and the Lunarian lineage factor), EXCEPT artificial gigantification. It'd be weird if only that one element wasn't incorporated into the Seraphim. It might also offer an explanation for the eyes at the end of Thriller Bark. If you were creating beings of that size, the Florian Triangle may be the only place to hide them.
@TheHakaiTalk the tension was literally so bad most of the community didnt even believe any of the scabbards deaths for like months💀ppl like you in denial of any flaws are weird ones
It's funny to hear morj angry about saul because I, swear on my life, never thought he died. It was still emotional to me because I thought he was imprisoned to never be seen again. And when I really think about it, this idea was set up with franky's backstory and Tom being taken to ennies lobby without a confirmed death.
P sure you are doing more harm than good by not using your platform to talk about the LA during it's short lived popularity(netflix dropped it all at once) lol i guarantee you the writers, and whoever they are striking do not care about a youtuber who talks about a foreign comic book as a hobby "protesting" the project, or the selective few who tune into this content. Same goes for Roger and whoever else lmao im sure you can bring awareness to the issue whilst also appreciating the work of the actors and writers involved, regardless of the quality of their work.
Oda isn’t famously bad. He just says incorrect things which get corrected quickly but the fanbase does not report on that. The broad strokes of the story have always included his start, middle and end, this is wildly known, and it was always very clear he’d make the stuff that mattered line up. It’s actually the small thongs he flubs, Whole Cake being longer than expected ect. His broad story goals Oda will always hit.
Randy was actually right about robin back story saul being a focus of robins flashback was bad writing seeing how the mother and clover were also there. Also the only thing robin got from saul is "dont give up" literally robins entire personality is being an arxhaeologist.... not being a marine or "not giving up" with more context saul never should have been THAT emotional. And knowing what we know and how she only knew saul for 3 days should AUTOMATICALLY change your perspextive. Thats that japanese trope of meeting somebody for like 30min then all of a sudden you start calling them "big brother" or "sister" that shit is so corny and cringe it makes me wince everytime i see it.

@zmp323 IF we get that arc and it's fantastic, it might be my new favorite One Piece arc because I always loved the concept of the Davey Back fight and it would be a good way to get Long Ring Long Run some more notoriety as that is a very underrated One Piece arc. Kuma's backstory is such a huge unresolved "Chekov's Gun" that it was shown on-screen for later use.
I wonder if Oda will interupt the fight to show the rest of it, or wait till Egghead ends.
