Andrew Downs, director of the Mike Downs Center for Indiana Politics opens this video presentation held on the campus of IPFW and acknowledges the sponsors of the program. Sara Gabbard, co-editor of "Lincoln and Freedom" introduces Harold Holzer. As of September 2009 Mr. Holzer, Lincoln author and scholar and co-chair of the United States Lincoln Bicentennial Commission, has written or edited 35 books about Abraham Lincoln.

Lincoln's self-education chimes with Washington's education as well physical strength and stature with George at 6 foot 3 inches and Lincoln at 6 feet 4 inches much taller than the average height at time...
