Looking good Paul, you must be enjoying this one the way you`re rattling through it, i`m so tempted to pick one up too ! If i had to guess on the 3 black bits you mention i would say they are some kind of removable covers that would give access to the timing chain on the real thing
Hi I am fairly new to this and am trying to add more detail to my builds you are so very good at describing and showing how to achieve this, so well done !! my question is what is the product you use to fill in, some sort of plastic goo ? thanks so much 😀
I built all of Rossi’s championship bikes, both Honda and Yamaha, 2-stroke and 4, as well as a KR YZR500, Colin Edwards M1, and Nicky Hayden RC211V. I’m hoping that Quartararo having won the title last year, that Tamiya is finally going to release an updated M1, being as they seem to only do champions.
Hi Paul, new to your channel since buying the Suzuki GSX 2020 kit. What and where do you get the decal applicators? Do you have a link for the masking demarcations you used.? I have ordered the hiroboy paints I built the Tamiya zzr 1400.. after returning to modelling since humbrol enamel era...bad times, lol Lots of new materials, paints and glues 2 first builds were shocking 😢 Then I bought the 1400 I give it 7 out of 10 wasn't too bad but I want the GSX model to hit a 9 slightly prejudice as I have a GSX myself Thanks for part 1 & 2... spru goo alien invention but soo clever Regards Gee
I have a question about the front fork detail up parts do the have the C/F look to them of are they just black in colour? the one on the actual bike are c/f
Hi mate, can i ask you a question on your Bambi BB8 compressor. I was looking at possibly getting the Bambi BB8 or possibly the next one up from the BB8 with the slightly larger tank. What do you think of the Bambi & have you had any problems with it. Thank you.
Sorry for the late reply. I replaced mine with a sparmax 610 a few years back. The bambinis just too big and once your spray booth is on its negates the compressor silence anyway. Save your money abs get the sparmax
I understand there is quite a bit of carbon fibre used for the real bike - Are there carbon fibre decals in the kit? I am debating whether to purchase a carbon fibre decals kit for the model before I start
It's looking good. Can't beat Tamiya kits.
Happy to see this. I was gutted when you liquidated all your bike stuff and swore them off.
....knew it wouldn't be too long before you went back to two wheels!! Cracking job on the engine mate! Love it....
*Nice build and paint on this motorbike engine, nicely done Paul!*
The bike is coming along nicely. Just started building my Ducati.
Tamiya kits are just incredible. Stay healthy and safe 🌲
following this one Paul 👍 Last bike kit I did was the Tamiya GSXR1100 Katana from about 40 years ago!
Ok, I reviewed it, but now I gotta build it as well.

What is the name of the Tamiya product you call "molten plastic" you use to fill the seams of the gas tank and fender?
It’s this ua-cam.com/video/CJLN0jDIv-0/v-deo.html
