Very helpful as we lost the leaflet instructions. I also noticed how sparkly your machine was and that made me polish up ours! Thank you 🌟

Yeah it doesn’t take long for the machine to get covered in coffee splashes and dust does it 😅 Looks great when it’s been cleaned up with a microfibre cloth though! Thanks 😊

Good job you did refill the water tank as goodness knows what it may have done to the machine! I now have coffee machine envy even more as I really would love a Creatista Pro! Thanks for that, perhaps one descaling the Lattissima next🙏

Hope a deal pops up on the Pro for you at some point as they are a good machine. Will certainly do a Lattissima descaling video soon too though 👍

Thanks for the video quality as always just received my creatista plus yesterday love it already really pleased with the milk temperature etc
just trying to find a nice pod for my lattes for work think im definitely going to need two shots 👍
I take it the descaling process will be the same for the plus as this one ??

I never actually got around to descaling my creatista plus (sold it regretfully) but am thinking of buying another one for a comparison video so will give it a go if I do. I'd imagine it'll be a very similar process and hopefully the screen will still guide you through it. Really glad you're happy with the Creatista Plus though, great machine 👍

Good tutorial, I'll have that in mind when my pro starts moaning for a descale. As a follow-up on the Kona capsules, the Nespresso AU site is doing an 'exclusive presale' at the moment for Kona Hawaii, and the capsules are $3.50 each (1.92 pound). Apparently they'll be on sale next week-ish (the url is the same as the other regions, just not linked to the main capsule variety order page).

Wow, I thought £1 a pod was expensive 😅. Glad you're able to try them now though 👍

Anyone know how to unstick the tip of the frother? Mines got stuck and I can’t undo it.

So we’re you’re first few coffees ok or did they taste acidic?
I’ve found the Nespresso pink cleaner takes a huge amount of flushing before you can get back to nice coffee, far more than the manuals of UA-cam videos show.

Yeah being honest I did feel it tasted funny for the first few coffees but good after that.

If you run out of water whilst brewing a coffee, the hot milk side compressor can become air locked. This brings up the 'Descale Now'.....then you can’t get rid of the descale page, so you need to run a fake descale just using water then at the end you can select 'rinse steam wand' do the rinse until you see it is actually rinsing ie the water bubbles, then all should be ok...
If you don't do this after your 'descale' has finished it looks like you're ok...until you try to make a drink then the 'descale' page comes up and you can’t get rid unless you do as I have said.
Best not to ever run out of water though...ask me how I know all this 😢

I have the same machine, and the display of my machine also skips a view steps during the descaling process.
I quickly found out that at the top left of the display, there is a "step back" arrow.
I touched that button, and guess what?
With every touch on that button, It takes you one step back in the process, until the step which says to remove the water tank and container, right after the descaling process itself.
So, there is definitely a flaw in the software.
At first, I thought it was a failure of my machine, but you showed that all the Pro machines have the same issue.
I didn't ask about it yet at Nespresso or Sage, but I think I am going to.
I can live with this flaw, but for such an expensive machine, it should be working the way it should.
I also really don't understand why the capsule holder and dripping tray should be removed before placing the water tank with the descaling fluid, and placed back right after placing the water tank.
This makes absolutely no sense IMHO.
And, just like you, I have serious concerns about the very poor finish of the dripping tray.
I don't use a cup to avoid getting hot steam/water on the finish, but a kitchen cloth instead.
And, maybe a tip to avoid or at least to limit the dripping tray to get dirty on the inside.
I place a small espresso glass between the dripping tray and the cup holder.
This way, the dripping falls into the espresso glass only.
And that is a lot easier and faster to clean.
Of course, when you use large cups for your coffee making, you can't do it this way.
At last, I am very, very happy with this machine.
You can't get any closer to a great espresso, cappuccino or latte macchiato using the Nespresso system.

Haha when reading your comment I was like ‘yeah I think that’s an unnecessary step’ and ‘yeah my wife often uses a cloth too’ 😂 Some really good points you made and glad we could help with the descaling process 👍🏼
