That's not just a coincidence, rng deck are meant to play that your opponent don't know what they playing against neither what cards do you have in hand Also card advantage is insane thing
The constant card advantage means that even if your opponent can answer your play, you can always keep playing more cards and eventually outlast them. You can see this first hand in the match agains the tricaratops with the forcefield environment. You were able to constantly play minions to chump block it without losing card advantage. All you need to do now is to finsih them off with plank walkers and win the game easily. Also, an underated part of constantly conjuring cards is that the longer the game goes on, the more likely you will get a conjure that wins the game on the spot. As you stall your opponents, youll eventually get a strong card that tips the scale in your favour. (Think the bungee plumber in the clique pea game) Tldr: Card advantage is the key to winning any card game (including pvz heroes) It gives you flexibility in your next play, and helps you to practically infinitely stall opponents.
I am super excited to see more decks like this in the future! Fry, if you're wondering why this deck might be winning, I have a few ideas. I think one of them is definitely the plank walkers. They really rounded out the deck and gave the deck a late game finisher, which is often missing for most RNG decks. I think another great "synergy" is with chemist and duckstache. Often these kinds of decks get plenty of cheap tricks to use, but not enough minions to block damage. I think duckstache does a great job giving you high power minions that have good tempo. I think the rest of the deck is mostly self-explanatory, with most of the cards in the deck giving you insane card advantage. Frosty mustache and barrel of barrels keeps you alive so you perform combos and stall for the late game, when you can use your plank walkers to finish of the opponent.
RNG decks fix one of the main weaknesses of any deck which is card advantage, I guess that explains a surprisingly high win-rate, buried treasure is lowkey an S-tier card btw, it's the Sneaky Cheese Cutter.
I think the reason this is good is a similar reason to why highlander is good. It's not just the fact that you have card advantage, its the fact that you have so many options. Because conjure gives high varience cards, and you get so many of them, you usually have some sort of synergy or counter to the opponent's field. Being able to choose from many different options is what caused most of the highlights in this video.
I think one of the reasons this works so well is because you did not focus on spacetime every single game. Spacetime is good, and so is buried treasure, but you were willing to sacrifice both in multiple games for card draw and conjures. I think that is one of the reasons this did so much better then the other conjure decks.
28:55 He played TEN CARDS in ONE TURN and still had EIGHT left over. Absolutely insane. I've never seen anything like that. 1. Thinking Cap 2. Neptuna Super 3. Super Stench 4. Thinking Cap 5. HG Super 6. Moon Baze Z 7. Immorticia Super 8. Super Stench 9. Terrify 10. Super Stench
when I still played the game I had a really dominant deck of a similar type for Brain Freeze that I simply called "The Conjurer", where the idea being my deck was filled to the brim with either conjures, controls, or removals: Spacetime, buried treasure, deadly barrel, frozen moustache... so on. But the key thing was that it did also have plank walker as finishers I think it comes down to the fact that trying to have imps and drawing cards and whatnot straight up isn't needed - what a conjure deck is good at conjuring up (at worst) garbage filler to chump block, or (at best) the solution to every problem. It outright breaks the game, in the literal way, as you get to put more than 40 cards in your deck theoretically. As other commenters said, you're always ahead just by virtue of card advantage, and that's something I've always found myself seeing in my games with that deck: I'd be seven or eight whole cards ahead of their one or two cards left in hand A conjure deck is great at either getting ahead, or surviving when you're behind, so finishers like plank walker that both survives (chump block) as well as goes offensive (6 damage strike through goes hard) is amazing as a choice
Since your hand is always full and you want to stall for the endgame, could there be a world where Swabbie unironically fits in? (Or, less memey, Brain Vendor) The -1 card advantage of running the 0 cost guys is nice as you want to stall, so cheap small chumpblockers let you survive further. You're also never running out of cards due to the nature of this deck as well. It's a pirate too for the pirate synergies that sometimes come out of Plankwalkers, and being an amphibious minion it lets you chumpblock vs water guys (something that was a problem on the stream sometimes)
I think the big reason why rng decks like this works is because PvZ Heroes just has a lot more situationally good cards than there are bad cards, theoratically speaking there is almost no bad play running it. Even getting a 1 cost 1/1 would have value for cheap chumblocking and even moreso with smelly breath/deadly barrel for removal. When your hand is filled with random cards your opponent can't even predict, its REALLY strong with the right decisions It's biggest strength is that your hand is so bloated with conjures, you can make as many plays as you want as long as u have the brains for it. It isn't like chumblocking a 1 cost 1/1 with low card draw and few cards, its chumblocking with a 1/1 where u still have more plays, present and future.
@@FryEmUpGaming I can do an entire college course on how much the context changes when you put a card in a deck and it being a waste vs conjuring a card and all the possible situational ways it could be the game winning play
Hey Fry, love you content so much. You where the one that got me into pvzh 3 years ago and your content keeps getting better. I commented one your last video but just to make sure I'm telling you again. I made a bad moon rising tier list, as in all the cards you can get from bmr. There are actually a couple on tier-list maker and you said that if someone made one for you then you would make a video on it so I'm letting. you know they exist.
I think the card advantage eventually takes over slowly but surely. And it's kind of a control deck in the sense that even in the worst case scenario, you could always afford to chump block lanes at the cost of a card because you're always getting your card advantage back. And the plank walker capitalizes on the stalling while creating even more minions and card advantage. You're winning simply by the sheer number of cards, and a lot of the time your opponent eventually crumbles because they've run out of cards.
Could you do a deck that’s the exact opposite. A “best choice” deck where there’s no randomness you chose what happens exactly. Example: firefighter, you chose who to bounce Example: no teleport because it draws a random card
The real counter to this deck would be strike through aggro or just bricking REALLY hard on the plank walkers, but if the opponent cannot break through the endless chump blocking, you basically always win, I think teleports would also do really well in this deck as they counter people answering your cards with control. If you took out like a copy of chemist, imposter, bob, or plankwalker you could pretty easily fit them in.
Hey Fry, just played against a Fry Em Up on ladder - unsure if it was you. It was an aggro solar flare, and I was a brainfreeze. If it wasnt you, oh well. Still wanna show you this deck: Brainfreeze Conjure featuring Nurse. It's very similar to the deck you showed here - 4x Treasure, 4x Impostor, 4x Barrel of Barrel, 4x Frosty, 4x Spacetime and 4x Plankwalker However we couple it with Beastly package - 4x Cheese Cutter, 4x Cyborg and 4x Bounty Hunter. All these cards also either conjure or give follow-up (Cyborg's big borg is treated as a conjure and is discounted by Spacetime), following the idea of "every card gives you more cards" of the OG Huge Gigantacus version of the deck. They're also strong control tools, allowing us to further stall into the lategame for our payoffs. Then I'm running 2x Maniacal Laugh and 2x Nurse. Maniacal lets you convert your Cheese Cutters and Spacetimes into guys that always hit face for more value, alongside turning any guy laying around into a potent finisher. Nurse is spicy; this deck's main strenght is how it never runs out of cards. Most PvZH decks have just enough steam to get to ~20, 25 face damage and then severely run out of cards. Having a Nurse heal for 6 can shut down aggro decks, and a second hit essentially ensures they run out of cards. It's VERY fun and a great start. You mentioned wanting to run this deck with every hero and here's a recipe for it with Brain Freeze, another hero that works REALLY well with conjure due to the Beastly package being almost all it. If you wanna credit shotout Fazzie which is my discord name hah
I feel like an all-out strikethrough deck counters this deck, which you didn't really face, and maybe you could do something about the strikethrough with frosty mustache but this is just a gut feeling. I also think this genre of deck popped off this stream because you played against tempo decks, which when you chump block (plant tempo decks have no way of breaking through kinda similar to why teleimps is strong against it) and then play strong zombie lategame (usually cheaper because of spacetime (counts as ramp?) and also if you think about it, plankwalker + leap is a broken combo because if they remove plankwalker you could still get a value leap off the other minions spawned) this deck seems pretty strong to play into tempo decks
The fact that there are almost no completely trash cards in this game makes RNG decks really effective in an above-average rate, since the opponents cannot predict the possible combos you may be able to play upon conjuring. Also, simply having constant card advantage is a winning factor.

It's funny how Fry says that RNG chaos decks aren't "competitive" but I think the winrate compared to the winrate of "competitive" decks says otherwise. And it's wild how consistent that is, and even when you try to make a conjure deck more "consistent" its winrate decreases. Alls I'm saying is play all out conjure leap in a tournament as a tribute to RNGesus
This deck also follows the theory behind highlander decks. The longer the game goes on the more you conjure, the more unpredictable options you have, the more you win!
Has fry ever done a patreon tournament? Put each patreon supporter and fry himself into brackets, then fight to see who wins. Itd be helpful if the supporters streamed or at least recorded their games so fry could watch them after the tournament, or live if he gets knocked out before the finale
I don’t know how to word it out, but looking at the deck all these conjure cards have some alright base effect like Frosty freezing or Barrel giving deadly but the list of cards they can each give are pretty solid on average with mustache being the only slightly mediocre one but with Spacetime making things cheaper even those mediocre cards get better solely from the discount. And like things normally pretty bad like Loose Cannon end up working perfectly with this deck as a little guy to block face, chip opponents, and be a simple target for Barrel. Then any of these conjured cards can be of decently high cost, discounted by spacetime, and then leaped into something even better with Leap. Superpowers in general are good so Thinking Cap is kinda obvious and then all this controls into Plankwalker who’s a good minion, easily leapable into Zombot if needed, and fills the board with 2 pirates which are usually really good with each other. I really can’t say much beyond this deck just conjuring so much that it basically always has an answer to block or kill any plants played while wearing the enemy down via their health or cards in hand.
I think part of the reason this dominated is because every single card in the deck has card draw. And the one that doesn't spawns 2 minions so it might as well be.

If you play this deck, I hope you have fun with it, it can be tons of pressure & lots of early control, or early swarm!
Fry is giving the chemist too much credit as he's only ever good if you are already winning/have control over the board The impostor seemed to be a decent chump blocker and duckstache activator And the only card other than chemist I'd think to replace is frosty mustache with some other early game card though it definitely wasn't bad
in order to properly analyze this deck you gotta play someone but from the plant side. my theory... just theory... is the pure RNG is much like how your Highlander decks go. the opponent cant deal with pure chaotic randomness from RNG. you cant build Plant wise a strategy around pure RNG conjure no deck is ready for that. no deck can counter or fight that. unless the plant deck is designed to penalize card draw.
And something to add: look at what cards you pulled from outside HG's normal ability to play. You got a bunch of cards no expects HG to have in hand nor normally can play. Cheers dude
Fry has to accept the fact that rng decks are cracked and competitive
It even got 69 wins with 0 losses! 33:17

2 Discotron!
I'm never really sure about some of the cards in this deck/their ammounts as i'm overall new, but the deck seems to be working quite well & i'm really proud of it! Hero is Z-Mech!
If you play this deck, I hope you have fun with it, it can be tons of pressure & lots of early control, or early swarm!
Guys, do we tell fry about what he did 3 years ago?
Guys, how do I fix the bug, where the 10x Heroes are the same every two weeks
Fry is giving the chemist too much credit as he's only ever good if you are already winning/have control over the board
The impostor seemed to be a decent chump blocker and duckstache activator
And the only card other than chemist I'd think to replace is frosty mustache with some other early game card though it definitely wasn't bad
Waita sec, has anyone noticed in a game of plants against zombies, buried treasure isnt even a zombie let alone a living thing? 🤣
in order to properly analyze this deck you gotta play someone but from the plant side. my theory... just theory... is the pure RNG is much like how your Highlander decks go. the opponent cant deal with pure chaotic randomness from RNG. you cant build Plant wise a strategy around pure RNG conjure no deck is ready for that. no deck can counter or fight that. unless the plant deck is designed to penalize card draw.
And something to add: look at what cards you pulled from outside HG's normal ability to play. You got a bunch of cards no expects HG to have in hand nor normally can play.
Cheers dude
Third game is so Deadly. Ba dum tss 😅
