Hey there, I bought a NS400 4days back. The engine kind of feels rough in the lower rev range compared to my previous bike (rtr200), feels like inconsistent power delivery but all ok in top end and mid. Is it due to the engine is new or it is the character of the engine? Also kind of noise comes from the chain while accelerating from lower speed. Is it normal?
Here's my take: 1. Rough in the lower range: Let the engine settle down, post break-in period it should feel smoother as you put a few thousand kilometres. 2. Inconsistent power delivery: A BS6 fuelling issue. Any high compression bikes in this class of cubic capacity range is severely suffering from the current norms that restrict the fuel maps. It's like the engines are being starved. Upgrades down the line such as FuelX, better air filters should help. See if you need them post the break-in period. 3. Chain noise issue: how's your weather conditions? Too rainy in your region right now? Could be cause of that, or cause of poor lubrication off of factory floors. Either way, try cleaning and lubing your chain properly. Also check for chain play and adjust if required. Everything will be smoother post break-in period. This is the time the bike is slowly adjusting to being ridden, while you adjust to the bike as well! Congratulations on your new bike, here's to many more happy miles on your new machine 🎉! Worry less, ride more 💪🏽✨
@@techloverdigu6269 yeah bro because you have driven your bike approximately 250 to 400km so chain will be loose after the service chain they will tite and tell them to do chain lubing because I also have the same issue in 3 to 5 gear

I wish you to make a review for this and iam very curious and eager to ride with you .best economic highspeed touring with less expenditure motorcycle fun concept that too pocket friendly 😊😊❤❤

They should have given a similar kind split handle bar like on the NS 200. And an option to choose between digital meter console with bluetooth or a tacho+digital meter console without bluetooth. I mean bluetooth is unnecessary and all the enthusiasts know and we dont care about bluetooth connectivity. I love the NS 200 handle bars for what it is. It gives a hybrid feeling between a naked and a supersport. This is just my opinion. 🤷🏻🙏🏻😊
@@elferrari2145 there's this thing called "opinions" that we all have, which is what I was speaking of and talking about and I even gave a disclaimer about it
It's a very beautiful bike... You will just need to upgrade the rear tyre to 150 section and the front tyre to a radial one for better cornering and stability... And if you can you might wanna upgrade the brake pads... They are fine but you know some people prefer over aggressive riding so to just be on the safer side upgrading brakes is a good option
Hey I have a question....I just took a test drive of NS 400 but it's tank was vibrating a lot when asked to showroom they said all 400 cc bikes vibrates at tank....I'm planning to buy ns 400 just wanted to ask does all 400 cc bikes vibrant at tanks
Hi strell, subscriber from jaipur, Rajasthan.. i am planning to get this bike next month but one thing that has been bugging me from getting this bike is the engine longevity.. this is the same engine borrowed from the duke/rc 390 and i have seen on forums and youtube that the engine dies at about 40-50 thousand kms and needs a major rebuild at those kms. However the dominar 400 owners have been doing some serious kms on the bike and some even crossing the one lakh km mark without any rebuild.. i don't want my bike to get a rebuild and sitting at the shop every other day.. I currently own 5 bikes and I maintain a strict maintenance chart for all of them so any negligence in maintenance is nearly non existent.. should i get this bike??
if you service bikes regularly and understand how to use a bike properly without abusing them, then you should be fine. In todays day and age stuff rarely happens to bikes so if something were to happen, it will happen early on in the warranty period, not 40-50k kms down the line. you'll be fine man, enjoy your new bike.

A speed, any 400cc bike is meant to achieve. Le Hunter on the other hand.
Celebrate ns400 and hunter 350 both...why u want all the bikes to have same engine characteristics
Any 600 cc supersport can beat a 1200 cc Harley doesn't mean one is better than the other
your comparison does not make sense. They're similar in terms of the number on the CC only. Different class of bikes altogether. It's like saying vanilla is supposed to taste like chocolate 🤷🏽♂️
Ns has speedo error true speed is around 155....still very good for the price but not what a 400 cc can achieve...that should be atleast 170 on speedo
Both are different bikes with different characteristics. But the only thing that sucks about the hunter is its chasis

How did you increase the drive ratio? I need it done desperately for my 220. It does 90 at 6k rpm.. If I cld lower the rpm engine stress would reduce.

Great bike I rode it for many kms
KTM 390 Adventure SW or Honda NX500 or Yezdi Adventure or Benelli TRK251 or BMW G310 GS. Which one is the best?
I would say go for ktm 390
Gs310 is lil bit under power
Yezdi parts and service issue
Honda NX500 high maintenance
Can be serviced only on bigwing
such great riding
So it reaches about 145, 150 when you subtract the offset of the speedometer all bajaj have.
