Iv'e always liked when a bassist or drummer is the lead singer of a band. I think it's because only singing, or being a guitarist and the lead vocals is kind of the norm in most bands? I guess i just really like when a band mixes it up a bit. Sick band, and even sicker cover.
I REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND. Why does LITERALLY EVERY PERSON ON UA-cam feel the compelling need to change the original note and lyric composition of the original song? to be cool? to be unique? WHY CAN'T YOU GUYS JUST LITERALLY PLAY IT EXACTLY LIKE IT IS PLAYED IN THE ACTUAL SONG?!?!? ;_; I's just doesn't feel.....authentic. Anyway, amazing performance regardless. :3
what are you talking about? it sounds exactly the same as the original except like half a step down or a full step... like its probably in Eb tuning... but the notes are the same.. they just sound lower than the original.. in my opinion it sounds awesome! gives it a slight "heavier" sound if you can call it that...
Yes, it is strikingly similar, but there are some distinct differences. When you love a song so much as to listening to it literally huddreds or maybe thousands of times like I do, you eventually memorize the entire song, and notice subtle differences between the original, and song covers. I am not saying that their specific cover is bad, it just kinda irks and perturbs me when they don't just simple play it as close to the original as possible. In the original, the intro notes that lay the foundation for the guitar bassline are Stacatto: short and detached. When these guys played the song, the intro notes were long and attached, and imo didn't sound as appealing, as it sounds dragged out.
