Thanks for exploring this area. Strangely enough I was exploring it on Google Earth a few weeks back, not because I'm going there but I was curious about the origin of the Mataura River. I like the 4WD number plate1
It will all depend on rainfall in the surrounding area as the river will rise quickly. There would also be the possibility of snow from time to time so check the forecast and conditions before attempting in the winter……I would urge caution for a winter trip.
This is definitely on my hit list now! Thanks for sharing.
That is great country..thank you for the upload.
Man what an Adventure.... So man river crossings, you guys are brave...
What a 4x4 adventure, awesome video😃

What a great day, should have taken the caravan 😉
Haha, that would have been a bit more challenging
Awesome mission! That fist crossing looked pretty deep 🏊
It was a bit of a swim!

Where’s the track go if u carry on
Hi guys, great video. Love this track and great it’s relatively close to Queenstown. Was wondering what suspension you are running in the 79?
Standard in the front, upgraded the rear with Ironman springs and shocks. We set up for a bit of off roading and towing our caravan.
Great track. What is it like mid winter?
