2017 Elite 11 was so much better, in terms of the videos. This year you don't really become that familiar with the QBs like you did with guys like Justin Fields and Dakereon Joyner and Quincy Patterson.

I don't know about whoever else is watching, but this 2018 series is really lacklustre compared to the years priors, theres no engagement in backstories or even on a QB for a decent portion, story telling is poor, cuts to fast to a completely different part sometimes, this is on me but I do like when there's talking portions about QB play and the mental side of it. also I love watching the unrelated football parts, such the yoga segments in prior years or them just chilling with each other and how they respond to one another, and who are they are as people to understand just more about them aside from football, because like Dilfer and the other coaches say they always want to improve them as people as well. Thats my 2 cents, I'm curious to whomever read this rant's thoughts and comment on this

This elite 11 feels so rushed and out of touch last year's elite 11 was awesome it went in depth we seemed to know the names because we learned so much about them this year I'm just lost
They only showed like 4 players lol
These 15 minute episodes are hella weak
They need to end their deal with the NFL Network. You can’t connect with players, the episodes are short and a waste of time

Seeing that guy and his mom and grandma together made me super emotional being raised in a single parent household and knowing what he had to fight through to get there and to hear the words “I knew he had the talent” that’s something you have to appreciate. Great job Maurer you just earned yourself a new fan.

I went to Sun Valley before Sam and have kept up with him and practiced with him since he was a kid. My boy is legit.
So glad Brain Maurer decided to come to Tennessee. We need a quarterback with that kind of heart and drive to bring the VOLS back into the elite college program it use to be. Looking forward to seeing him play in the orange and white.

I just realized that they were doing this at redondo beach high school and we played a scrimmage with them like 2 or 3 weeks ago

Twelve guys in the elite eleven??? Also these episodes need to be a lot longer, ik nothing about half of the guys going
Jayden Daniels had the best 2019 season out of all these guys, especially for what he had to work with. His composure was incredible. Outplayed the hell out of Justin Herbert against Oregon. Ball security and stats show it against every one of these dudes

I REALLY like Brian Maurer! I love seeing strong stories of conviction and maturity like his. I wish I could help instill positive influence of Hope and mentalities of strength into them or at least let them know with certainty that someone they absolutely do not know can care and hope for the best for them. I didn't like how Rattler blamed the reciever on the missed/drop pass ,it made him look like a complainer and a blamer, poor sportsmanship, he should be dropped back a few spots...bad look buddy!

Its a QB camp, the receivers dropping passes only drop the quarterback's completion percentage thus making them look worse in the overall competition to get into the elite 11. I'd critical too considering every incompletion gets you closer to not making it to the end.

The guy ran straight on a curl route and caused an int. Do that on a bigger stage and you'll be benched. Rattler had every right to be upset about that. I've actually never seen a QB not get upset when a receiver runs the wrong route and causes an int.

Spencer Rattler will be our future college quarterback.. Hope he'll be great. Kyler Murray is supposed to be one of the best HS quarterbacks in the country, but sadly he'll be leaving for the MLB after this football season.

I don't understand what the big deal is here. All of them are getting full rides to power 5 schools, and all of them have a good chance of making the league down the line, so why should they care if they make the final 11 or not? Either way they're still going to be successful.
