7:14 Instead of pressing the speed sign, you can use the right scroll wheel to lower or raise the maximum speed limit. Scrolling slightly does this in 1mph increments. Scrolling it further does this in 5mph increments.
I have a Model Y and i'd describe this feature as advanced cruise control and not autopilot (which is what you need to pay for). Having said that, I use it a LOT on motorways and it works brilliantly, especially if you're happy to cruise in Lane 1 and not overtake anything, and thus not need to turn it on and off to change lanes. It's particularly good in slow moving traffic on motorways (and A-Roads) where you'd be on and off the clutch the whole time in a regular car.
I hardly ever use Autopilot on my Y, but I use the adaptive cruise control nearly everywhere. To be honest I get fed up with the reminders for steering input and then I give too much and cancel it. Maybe I need to “practice”more.
The constant reminders annoy me as well, you are not alone 😂 I use the cruise nearly everywhere as well, mainly because without the sound of a labouring engine I find it hard to maintain speed precisely
I just cant use the cruse/auto due to being stressed if it phantom brakes. Still think if it had additional sensor tech such as lidar to double check cameras it would feel better and I would feel more confident.
Use it daily on my Y for roads it is designed for (motorways/dual carriage) but need FSD if you are trying on country roads etc. Even then it struggles because of our crap roads. Tight, pot hole ridden and often not well marked.
I do the same, country roads I very rarely use it but did for this video. I normally use cruise more, it’s very hard to keep a constant speed over a road with ups and downs, and without the sound of a labouring engine it makes it really tricky
Hi Greenway Electric, I love your content! I'm interested in discussing a potential collaboration. Could you let me know the best way to reach you? Thanks!😁
Great to watch it cope with all the same roads I drive every day!
Glad you liked it

Thanks for the tip

Got a MYP and noticed the slight pull out when on Autopilot past lorries. Thought it was just me :)
Mine is currently being investigated by Tesla. I’ll let you know what they come back with

Put ya hand on the left side of the airbag part on ya steering wheel. Thank me later

Agree, I find myself hovering my foot over the pedals just in case it does something. I still don’t trust it
