previous day i waslooking at the shell scripting interview questions and there you mentioned about crontabs so i was a little bit con fused like is it crontab or cronjob. After a little bit googling i finally got the point. Like me if anyone is getting it confused (Cronjobs are the individual entries in that Crontab file). Here's a little help.

Previously i am using the command prompt, after watching your videos i have downloaded mobaXterm and i have no issues with it, if possible could you please do a small video showing what to do after downloading AWS CLI either through command prompt or mobaXterm, i am facing errors here, i am pasting the error i am facing after downloading aws CLI and using mobaXterm & i am using ubuntu Linux. Command 'aws' not found, but can be installed with: sudo snap install aws-cli # version 1.15.58, or sudo apt install awscli # version 2.14.6-1

Hey Abhishek, I have been watching your DevOps series for the last few days. Today I am on Day 7 where you have shared the real-time project. I understood the entire video and copied same on my end. I will tell little bit before I discuss the issue... I've installed the AWS CLI on my Windows platform and verified by commands and also by creating the S3 bucket from the CLI and cross-checking at the AWS portal. Great Content! I was able to set up a crontab to execute the resource tracker script for a certain period of time, but I was unable to get crontab to email the output files from the script. I read online that I have to configure the ssmtp file and add my email credentials there. Realistically, you don't do that at a job if asked to email to a manager or employee right?
Hello Abhishek, qq: When you said crontabs can be triggered at a specific time, how is the time considered? Is it system local time or global UTC time? In case I have a crontab set at 7pm EST, but I change the time on my local machine for something else, is it going to affect the crontab or is it going to run the process despite the time change on the local? Secondly, when you do 'set -x' the command gets printed which is for understanding, but is it good that you want to reveal the commands? We can definitely use echo as an alternative but when we use set-x and echo together, the script feels clumsy due to the occurrence of the echo command and its output. Can we avoid this?

Great Content! I was able to set up a crontab to execute the resource tracker script for a certain period of time, but I was unable to get crontab to email the output files from the script.
I read online that I have to configure the ssmtp file and add my email credentials there. Realistically, you don't do that at a job if asked to email to a manager or employee right?
Hello Abhishek, qq: When you said crontabs can be triggered at a specific time, how is the time considered? Is it system local time or global UTC time? In case I have a crontab set at 7pm EST, but I change the time on my local machine for something else, is it going to affect the crontab or is it going to run the process despite the time change on the local?
Secondly, when you do 'set -x' the command gets printed which is for understanding, but is it good that you want to reveal the commands? We can definitely use echo as an alternative but when we use set-x and echo together, the script feels clumsy due to the occurrence of the echo command and its output. Can we avoid this?

Hi Sandeep, Lets say u have 3 instances ec1, ec2, ec3 and u r executing this code in ec1, then in the output, will there be description of ec1 instance as well? or only the Descriptions of ec2 and ec3?? and If its not Showing Description of ec1, what could be the reason?

brother, i did everything as u done, i didnt get script after i print it - ./aws_resource_tracker and as well if i type ( aws, aws configurre - the command is not found) can anyone please tell me where i did wrong. previous tutorial i followed, i got 2 days ago, again i created new ec2 instance, now how do i connect security access key and private key

Hello bro, thanks for the videos, but i don't understand in which you are using shell scripting, you are not sharing screen while you before starting the coding , is it in terminal or else iterm, are you doing in instances or else you conected to the aws security credaintials. can you please explain to me properly, im watching all vidoes continously and also please can you telll me , after connecting with iterm 2 why we need to connect to with id ans security key again, and i need to terminate instances to connevct to the aws version. can you please explain this properly. thanks in advance, if you have time please can you explain me personally. please ping me back if you have time.
