    There’s a trick to set it to deposit it weekly. Just click create another 3 monthly deposit and choose a different date. I’ve deposit both monthly on the day 7th and 28th for my biweekly deposit.

    Yup. Actually you do can rename of your portfolio. I was taking a bit more risk, around 30%. Recently the market was going down by a couple of week. Hey Ben! Thanks for the question. It's hard to say exactly which one is more profitable because we never know what the market will be like in the future. I would invest monthly to spread out my risk, plus it develops a habit of investing consistently :)

    • @mrturboprop1743
      @mrturboprop1743 3 роки тому +7

      Stashaway always reinforce that we should always deposit consistently as per our plan instead of a one time entry. The reason behind that is because the market is dynamic & always moving, hence entering multiple times consistently will give you the most chances at investing at the lows of the market.
      Hope that makes sense, I've been using stashaway for almost 18months now

      When I save up for something I want to buy like a phone, I usually save 2x the amount I actually need. I then use one amount to make the purchase, and the other remains invested. This makes me invest in my future as much as I spend on wants or non-essential items.

      Yes, Securities Commission Malaysia requires all financial apps to ask users to upload their IC

    Hello, kawan 👋🤓
    Do I have to worry about how the government will tax this or some other thing? I'm new to investing in Malaysia so I don't know how the Securities Commission Malaysia or some other governmental body approaches things like this.

      Great question! It depends on how much you want to save and how much time you have. If you're looking for something low risk, go for StashAway Simple.

    Why is there a chance for us to lose the rm100?

    • @MillennialFinanceMalaysia
      @MillennialFinanceMalaysia  3 роки тому +2

      RM100 was an example. You may lose or make money, the amount depends on how much money you have inside the portfolio and what your risk index is (e.g 6% risk index meaning the amount of money you can lose in that portfolio is limited to around 6% of the total portfolio). Hope that clears things up!

    Questions for you guys, If I had 1k to invest on a monthly basis, should I put into ASB & Stashaway as 50:50 split or mostly just focus on ASB till I hit the 200k cap? Or maybe just put a couple of hundreds (30%?) into Stashaway just to diversify?

    • @MillennialFinanceMalaysia

    ton of people losing money during 2008 crisis due to their lack of knowledge in what they are doing. Just dont start if you dont understand the system. it will get back to you in a way you didnt aware... cause by simple stuff, understanding..

    • @MillennialFinanceMalaysia

      True in a way, but no one went bankrupt if they weren’t on leverage. If they held during the 2008 drawdown, they’d be pretty well off now :)
