As a multilingual crocheter I sometimes switch language when counting! Once went ien, twa, trije, fjouwer, fiif, zes, zeven, acht, negen, tien, elf, twaalf, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen (start Frisian, switch to Dutch from 6 onwards, switch to English from 13 onwards) which really confused my brain when I tried thinking about it
lol it’s a skill tho 😉
I count in English but I should try to count in German to practice my German skills
I start counting in my mother tongue but at 35 I start count in english
