We finished Pandemic Season 0, my husband, oldest son (25) and I. It is fun when they are older too and still will play with us. We also played a game of Cascadia.

Love Cascadia! I haven't tried Pandemic yet on my Someday List!

Solo September sounds delightful, but I am not sure if that will happen. Too much work and family trips this month. I am sure I will play a few solo.

September has been crazy here too! We ended up having two trips I hadn't planned on - and we are only halfway through the month! yikes! lol

Hey Amber! I really appreciate your focus on games bringing families and friends together. I dabble in solo gaming for the puzzly nature of it, but my favorite gaming memories are definitely with others.
My favorite gaming experience from August involved playing some simple, two-player games with my wife on our anniversary: Jaipur and Schotten Totten. We also enjoyed breaking out the colored pencils and tapping into our inner artists for a game of Cartographers. It was fun seeing how each of our maps developed and took on their own personalities.
As for September, I'm having a game night with my dad and my uncle soon. They enjoy very light games, and I'm planning to introduce them to a couple from my collection that I think they'll enjoy: Las Vegas and Coloretto.

Sounds like an amazing Anniversary to me - and Congratulations!! Have you tried doodle dungeon? That would be a fun colored pencil game too!

@@AmeepleFamily I haven't played that yet, but I enjoyed your content on it. It looks like a fun one for all ages.

Most memorable game is Quests of Yore with my fam - 14 to 86 years old :)

I love the movie that is based off of - also on my Someday List! How was the learning curve? Was it easy to get to the table and teach?

@@AmeepleFamily As game master I have to read ahead and be familiar with all the rules. The scenarios build up as do the characters. One scenario I need to have cheers and jeers by trees, so I wrote down a few so I don’t have to come up with puns on the spot. It helps to also be familiar with the overall story and sequence because there isn’t time to read the instructions in front of everyone. But the pay off is good and it makes stories and it’s fun to see others creativity. I never played dnd before but it’s doable and the memories made is priceless. If all else fails you can wing it ;)

Subway Squeeze sounds super fun! Similar to Overbooked, have you played that one?

I got my nephew Muffin Time for his birthday last week and the whole family enjoyed it, including my brother who usually doesn’t like to sit down and play these “boring Monopoly games” with us. :). It’s a silly take-that sort of game based on the goofy asdfmovie UA-cam video by Tomska that my nephew really enjoys. I have also recently got Tenpenny Parks and have solo played it twice. It has quickly become my favorite theme park game, and I have yet to beat the AI. I really want to get it played multiplayer! If you are just trying to play games you already have and not buy any more right now, it would be neat to see a shelf tour of your current collection! :)

Randall - I have really been eyeing Tenpenny Parks but would like to hold off on buying anything maybe until the Holidays or New Year even! I think I can, I think I can lol.... I've thought about doing a shelf tour - that may be a fun video to tackle in the next few months!

I was disappointed when I figured out prickly balls don’t contain diamonds.
