Surprised Ms Murray never complained about this when he was the Tory MP.
Seems like a nasty thing to say
@@xavierhucklenbruch1798 why nasty?
Why didn't she complain about his absenteeism before he defected ? Now all of a sudden he is absent, she sounds petty like her leader.
Because the media contacted her just now?
@@harrypainter7472 she can complain to him personally as well as the party, she doesn't need the media to complain. Not once did she even mention going to him about his absenteeism, now all of a sudden he is a disastrous neglectful MP ?
He is our M.P., sorry but we won’t notice he’s gone.
@@CodeCancerLab Yeah I mean I'm sure there's hundreds of other MPs who are also guilty of absenteeism but this is just a woman who has to do media interviews because this MP is in the news. I wouldn't look too into it personally.
Perhaps she did , and he ignored the complaints.
Was he more or less absent than Nadine Dorries?
Tory muppets
Which ones red tory or blue tory 🤔

Ladies and gents, this is what client journalism looks like.
What do you mean?
Betrayal 😂😂😂😂 yes he has pointed out clearly his reason for dropping the Tories because they have been pathetic when it comes to the NHS and Rishi Sunaks gall to tell people with mental health issues to just get back to work, really i have no pity for conservatives who let Sunak say highly offensive things that people with long covid PTSD and in my case Asperger's Autism that were just lazy really anyone who listens to the empty soulless husk of sunak pretending his words were necessary should be ashamed.
Resign your seat if you had any principles other than maintaining your MP salary !
Just like Lee Anderson didn’t.
@@MrGranfieldthey're all the same.
Election is round the corner not much point
Doctor with extensive experience working in NHS and inside knowledge of tory policy slammed for saying NHS is being deliberately run-down by tories.
Yep, how very dare he? 🙄
So for two years she says he’s been the invisible man yet done nothing about it.
It’s like Tory party machine damage limitation advert.
Go back to your holes.
Even after big splash Penny Mordaunt replaces "pint-sized loser" Ritchie Sunak, the Tories face extinction at the general election.
So a disgruntled ex Tory isn’t understood by tories who don’t understand why tories are wrong. Maybe if the tories look at themselves they may realise why
Client journalism
I do wonder what she would d be saying if Poulter had switched from Labour to Conservative
There is no difference between them as far as policies or morals are concerned.
@@jake751 still a good news day for Labour
@@jake751there miles apart, why are you trying to pedal other parties narratives?
This guy supported the cuts ffs.
Didn't have strikes in NHS Scotland because the government wasn't playing politics.
Every Tory mp is invisible, Ours only turns up for a photo-op, hope they all get shown the door next GE.
Party before country every single time.
In what way did sunk have a ‘solid week’??? 😂😂
Verbal constipation ?
So some one who also works in the NHS can see what is really happening. Wow If only I were a millionaire then my attitude to tax may be different.
Defund the NHS. Everyone says how great it is but no other country has copied it.. REFORM2024
If an MP leaves a party then they should have to start a bi election.
That is not how the UK system works, the MP's party affiliation is personal, you just happen to vote for an MP that aligns with your politics. They also are supposed to represent the whole constituency regardless of affiliation. It cuts both ways.
The rats are leaving a sinking ship ⛴️ say no more 😠
How is it possible to be a conservative M.P.and join a party completely at odds with your former views. He could have gone independent. He’s more likely be a career politician for his own ends, rather than his constituents.. 8:03
But how different are Labour from the Tories? I can't see much distinction and they don't seem in a hurry to create some 'clear blue water'.
He's not standing at the next election. Have another go.
@@roblewis226if you can't see a distinction your not looking, the 2 are miles apart
He was a Con mp in the home counties, the North South divide has gotten that bad economists are comparing it to east/west Germany at the fall of the wall
What any government need to do is inest heavily in nhs including salaries for nurses and Doctors and salaries for police and teachers. Make these trades so well paid that the younger generation see these jobs as careers to go for. Why would the younger generation look to these currently as a career. Instead, they are attracted to positions like lawyers, computing etc
👍👍👍
So please explain where the billions of pounds needed is coming from???
I've worked in the nhs & if the public knew how they wasted millions of pounds every single year you'd soon change your mind I guarantee you
Just keep throwing the money for all the problem is not the solution, we need to bring in the efficiency, which seems to have departed from this country🤓
Dan, beware a woman scorned😂
Is he that rarest of things? A tory with a conscience. Nah!
He's a home counties mp it's a different world.
It's well off or was middle class Toryland where government money was never a problem
What bad manners to not inform his Councillors , and also not to turn up for meetings in his constituency.
Instead of holding hands & support each other through the thick & thin , the rates are first to leave the boat. 🤨
How is it he wasn’t calling him out a week last Tuesday? Probably on an NHS shift rather than representing the gammons in Suffolk?
he was too busy being paid and working for the NHS to be a MP.
I would love to know Sam Murray, Conservative councillor views on Liz Truss & Thérèse Coffey who will most likely returned as MPs by the good people of East Anglia to next parliament & no doubt Ms Murray will be out canvassing for them
this seems a little strange since they knew he wasn't going to run for re-election
lol Tories complaining about him working as a full time doctor in the NHS. Wonder if they’d mind if he was grifting for some private company
He was only working part time.
@@lyndarichardson4744 this has to be peak Tory 🤣🤣
@@darrenholden7447 lots of MPs do including Labour.
Didn't seem to matter whilst he remained a Tory MP.
He’s just looking after his job.
Who mentioned whether or no he was going to stand for re-election?
They should allow the good doctor a safe seat then make him ambassador to South Sudan. No doctor actively supporting and enabling what the Tories have done to the NHS should be practising in the UK.
Rob Lewis. I do agree with you. However I was differentiating the former dispositions of the Tory partys stance on England (U.K. ) and it’s institutions and all that they entail, alas in the last 14 years they have wilfully allowed to be undermined by persons who should know better. La bout will in my opinion further the rot within the country. There is no one of any substance that could be classed as a leader.
Funnily enough he was doing an actual job as a Doctor, whereas most Tories seem to prefer the one day a month £30k a year consultancy to companies worried avout the law thing...
Have you seen his voting record?? He's a disgrace and shouldn't be anywhere near the NHS or vulnerable people. He is also in a group that supports apartheid Israel.
He wasn't elected to be a doctor, you can bet he was being paid. not bad 2 salaries and pensions paid by the taxpayer.
It's like when somebody breaks up with somebody else and their friends say I never liked her or him anyway. Complaining that he wasn't good at his job is ridiculous because he's a Tory Of course he wasn't she didn't need to tell us.
Hahaha, the Tories are such a joke
He's not a Tory with a conscience, an NHS doctor that becomes a Tory MP, is not a man with a conscience in the first place.
And people think there's a difference between the Tories and Labour. Purple politics at its finest in Britain. They're both the same on so many issues. Net zero obsession, immigration won't be solved under either party and I suspect worsening divisions of society under Labour also. Poulter is stepping down at the general election, this is just some face saving nonesense for any work he does after being an mp. Also to call the Conservatives a nationalist party is hilarious. Because the Tories have done nothing but be anti British all through the 14 years of Tory rule. Let's run off the checks, foreign aid check, money sent to foreign countries to fund wars check, ruining Britains self sufficiency in energy with useless wind and solar power instead of building nuclear power stations en masse and fracking check, uncontrolled immigration CHECK, allowing China and other foreign powers into British infostructure check, I could keep going and going.
Not well read are you
Let me guess. Reform have all the answers right? 😂😂
@@nicks4934 you clearly don't even know what well read means, because everything I have stated the Tories have done is a fact. Simple as.
@@nicks4934 where in my comment do I mention reformuk?. Seems you might have the reformuk obsession. Your not putting that on me.
Absences weren't a problem at all as long as he stayed a Tory. But NOW...
Never Trust A Tory
He can dress this up with as many weasel words as he likes. It is nothing but blatant opportunism. Completely lacking in principle. So typical of modern politicians.
A Pig swapping troughs.
So much for the local party selections not to investigate their members no hope of working for them ?
Seems to me like she is lying ...
Turns his back on his party! How can he be trusted by the electorate now? How do they know he won’t do it again?
He was elected because he was a conservative. He should resign his post immediately.
Spot on Thinks the grass is greener on the other side .
As a Labour voter I don’t agree with any elected politician crossing parties. In every case should be a by-election.
anyone who moves from Conservatives to Labour (or vice-versa) has no understanding of the core beliefs of either, or themselves... or the parties are pretty much the same now, so it makes no difference! you decide!
He is a flip-flop mp, he will suit Labour !
So Liz Truss works hard in turnip land? 😂
Good on him ❤ mh matters regardless of sunaks opinion
Didn't know what was going on?
desperate dan the invisible man
A byelection should be called immediately he has betrayed his constituants hes a tractor.
People like him are the exact opposite of what should be in parliament. Career opportunists doing anything to save his job, stands for nothing, believes in nothing, just a uniparty shill.
Deeeerrrrrr.... he has crossed the House and is then standing down at the next election. Which job is it do you think he is trying to protect?
To be fair the NHS is a cesspit of Labour luvvies
Fair lol
MPs with second jobs is ridiculous for a start. Splitting your time between being a doctor and a politician has to mean you aren't any good at being either of them.
So parties should only pick unemployed people to be MP's because they don't have second jobs? Novel idea.
@@Makeyourselfbig sigh. Are you being purposefully obtuse? If you don't see that there's an issue with having what should be two full time jobs, both in need of your full attention, with people depending on your devotion, then I can't help you.
Tory mp since 2010 and didnt notice the problems with the nhs, despite working for it ?
Vote them out GE
Oh ye! Get the reds in ! No way. They will let more boat people in spend the fun’s as if there is no tomorrow, just like last time. Mor brain drain . Is that what you want to see? 🤨
Vote the Communist Party of Great Britain where we all Equal 😂
He was invisible because he was working to keep the underfunded and undervalued NHS afloat.
The Tories voted for second jobs too.
Cowardly Dan
😂😂😂 The whole country will be going over to Labour soon. If he's the invisible man why are you so bothered more habitual lies and virtue signalling from a Conservative councillor
Well ..... there is one issue that will not change regardless which party is in power.
..... Russian trolls in the comments, did you guess what is that issue ? :)
Double standards from Poulter
Labour should refuse him membership.
If Penny Mordaunt defected then that would be great news for Labour.
The kind of politician we can do without, go back to filling in prescriptions.
Starmer's Labour is more Tory than Sunak's Cons
Just cannot believe how this is allowed.. conservatives voters put him in, not labour. This is disgraceful and so disrespectful to the voters who voted him in..
The man is elected, not the party. That’s our system.
lee Anderson? I can't believe that Wragg & Menzies are still MPs & will vote with the Government This is disgraceful and so disrespectful to the voters
Sorry I thought he represented a constituency in Parliament not just those who supported him ? Is it now the case that an MP should only represent the people in the constituency that voted for them ???
patel! go home!
Lol... tory trash
I thought these things happen only in india .defection from one party to another happens in uk ?
If he was as bad as they claim they could have deselected him but they didn't. So apparently he wasn't as bad as they are now making out. He's just another nail in the Tories coffin.
