Every hit song wasnt supposed to get released
Because fans tend to like mainstream sounding songs, while the artist wants to evolve their sound
@@Kiloooooooooo at what point does a critic become a fan? I feel like artists wouldn’t give a crap about what they put out as a single or just dropping a song, especially when even their unreleased music is produced at a level above 99% of the rest of the music. The fact that there is hesitation to do so out of fear of criticism or “fans” switching on you over one song has probably kept so many great creations away from the public.
@@greg9069 you can feel any type of way, as an artist I’m taking you there a difference between fan favorite music and doing music you love… there’s will always be that dilemma. Name one #1 billboard experimental album besides wlr
@@greg9069 the point of I’m trying to make is, mainstream music is only good bc the “majority” says it’s good, when in reality the majority is just labels throwing millions of dollars into marketing the song
@@Kiloooooooooo I agree that the labels marketing and producing is what makes or breaks for most albums. I don’t listen to this type of rap anyway, I like outkast, black thought, old school stuff, even old Eminem is better than any of the stuff that dropped since the sound cloud era… and that’s what separates it, the production in a daw with no real instruments will always carry more risk than being creative on an instrument like guitar or piano.. and that’s the missing piece with all the new artists, it’s like they got all this information at their finger tips and choose not to excel in their craft, and the “fans” consume their garbage because they don’t even know what it is. It’s electronically generated sounds put on a musical grid… there’s tons of unique piano and guitar and even bass driven songs that went high on the charts, just not recently.
The fact that he went number 1, a billion streams and no features without even promoting the album is crazy.
All due to his affiliation to slime.

Song of the summer last year
LMAO it really wasn’t, the only reason people listened to it was because the algorithm on tik tok, if it wasn’t for that nobody would’ve even known the album dropped

Every rapper say this shi
It be true, a lot of throwaways become hits eventually. XO Tour life is an example
Cuz most of the hits are songs where they weren’t even trying and it’s so simple but catchy. Example is offset with ric flair drip and he begged metro to not drop it and it’s one his biggest songs
Lol am I trippin or does Turbo look like jordan peele doing a skit as a rap producer?!💀😂😂😂😂

America needs to work on its public transportation infrastructure as a whole. Culturally there needs to be a shift to a more positive attitude about public transportation but that can only happen if cities, states, and the government hop on board with investment into it. And it absolutely should not be privatized. Air shouldn’t be the only viable option to travel long distances quickly in this country. We are so far behind
