Hi Ben, thanks for the tutorial. I want to do the same as you did but with a not parametric panel sheet in a line based family. But when i set up the parameters for the array and apply, the edge of the next metal sheet doesn't connect with another edge, they get all messy on top of each other. Why is that? Thanks.
@@BINHE615 Thanks for the reply, I sorted it out. Anyways, i think this method is pretty good but it ends up being very heavy for Revit normally, because we would cover long walls with these panels (like big warehouses). The best way I find it doing it so far is using modelling in place, extruding the panels profiles along the walls on floor planes and cutting holes with another models in place and then hiding them.
I guess you can simply model one tile as a family, and load it into a curtain panel family. After that you can load it into your project and place them using slope glazing, a little similar to 484.
Hi Ben, I know you wrote the equation down on the example screen shot but can you show me what you wrote on the properties for radius I am trying to see it but it’s very blurry can you write it out for me is possible thank you have a great day.
A dome camera would be very similar to the one I did, but different shape. I do not recommend you model those details because you will never be able to see them in most of your drawings.
Thank you, i will try this system for my IBR sheet. Tell me, I already designed an IBR Sheet Corrugated(its more like square shape). i did not do it using Line based the way i see you doing it here in this video and is not Parametric. I set up reference lines then i placed points on reference lines, then i joined all the points using spline. Questions 1. Do you know how i can make family become just one solid unit(Not joining to complete forms together), so when i import my IBR Sheet into a project, i cant control it easy because is in different parts, at the moment im not able to e.g align my IBR sheet because when i try to select the bottom of it ,it selects lines points i created to make the IBR sheet. 2.(in Short can you convert a line created with Multiple points into one single line with only 2points(end to end).
It's a bit hard to answer your question without seeing your family. I guess it's an adaptive family? If so, you can place your adaptive family into another adaptive family with only 2 points. For your second question, yes, just delete the points that you do not need.
Thank you for the responce. 2nd Answer does not Work: Family:Generic Model. If i delete the reference Points the lines get deleted together with the reference points. what should i do do keep the line.? i will try 1st answer to see if it will work.
Can you show us how to make variable corrugated steel beam?
It's probably not hard, just add the flanges, but is this necessary? It will make your model very heavy.
we can also use in curtain panel......

It is almost impossible to know what is wrong without having your file open in front of me, can you share it so I can figure it out for you?

@@niceguy-pw6uf I agree with you. I would only use a 50mm thick wall with a vertical surface pattern for any fence in a real project.
Thanks so good Please make a video about how to make Spanish tile roof with curtain wall or beam system method(I know Mass method but sow heavy)

Yes, my wife and I both love Korean food. Kimchi, Bibibap, Korean BBQ ... Yum.
I really want to serve even Korean food. Thank you for your enthusiasm^^
Maybe you can share me some recipes :)

R=(SQRT(x/2)^2+(y/4)^2/2)/COS(ATAN((y/4)/(x/2)))
You need to make sure the name of the parameters (x and y) match those in your family.
really helpful. thank's
Cctv doMe or bullet camera range in 3d
What about that sir
