This Corolla is on Mobil 1 fully synthetic, Bosch four electrode spark plugs, Simota Air Intake, front strut bar, newly installed timing belt and belt tensioner/bearing, Front suspension bushings, KYB Excel G gas shocks, Stoptech GTR brakepads, dunlop sport lm703.

A large amount of very fine dust does get pass the filter, I tested it on a corsa I owned, 3 types is tested, all made a dust cover within the cone filter pipe.

The first few things i put into my Grand Am 3.8L where Bosch Four Electrode spark plugs, (Well worth the money!), a set of 10 gauge wires and ,a K&N airfilter. A C.A.I. was too mcuh money for not much power at the time. Not only did my engine sound meaner, and have more power, but it ran smoother and I noticed a big differance with M.P.H. on the highway. You hear anything bad about the Platinum IR Fusion spark plugs?

Idle sounds good, makes me think I need a timing belt now. Where's the extra air coming out? Need a muffler

@nielclark1 just wondering... i have the exact same set up as yours 16 valve 1.6L engine, same simota CAI (same color too), and the bosch spark plugs.. but my engine oil gets dirty really fast. it only took a month before i had to change my oil again. any idea what causes this? i put the stock filter back on co'z i was thinking the cold air intake can't filter the dust well. so do you have the same problem?
