Jen, releasing on a Sunday? Get used to it! Sunday is the new Monday :-)
Aaaand, this will be the final video where you hear that intro music - I've included the full track for your listening pleasure, one last time!

Living just off the canal (between Woodley Tunnel and Manchester Road) I never take the canal and the views for granted. It's my happy place

Oh wow, this brings back lots of memories! We would regularly walk from our home in Bredbury to my nana's house in Marple. We would go down to the Spread Eagle where we would join the canal (at Hatherlow) and follow it to the top of the locks near where she lived. I never fancied cycling along the towpath, too many puddles.

I used to live 5 minutes from that canal at the north end. At the time I hated it because my school used to make us do cross-country runs along there in winter - with all the snow and ice it'd never be allowed now in case anybody drowned!
Just a couple of points of (railway) interest you haven't labelled: At 20:26 you pass under the Manchester-Glossop line just east of Guide Bridge and at 21:08 that's the Guide Bridge-Stalybridge line.

    Mesmerizing!
I recognise a lot of the names from Foxes Afloat.
Come to think about it, I first learnt about you and your channel from one of their live chats.
It's a small world isn't it but I wouldn't like to paint it!

16:35 shows the path off to the left that takes me to the village where I live. Often walk the lower peak forest to either Marple or Portland Basin

OK Jen, here in the US when we bike on greenways, we are supposed to yell out prior to reaching pedestrians, "ON YOUR LEFT". This is to acknowledge to pedestrians that a bike is going to pass the pedestrians and not to wander to your left. Do you do something similar in the UK? I also noticed that you mostly pass opposing bikes and pedestrians on the left (just like driving in the UK). Is this the norm also? Asking because we hope to travel to the UK in the fall (assuming COVID restrictions are lifted) and we plan on renting bikes for a short tour. Thank You. Enjoy all your trips regardless if by bike or car.

I use my bell a fair distance back, and then again once I get closer unless it's clear that they're aware that I'm coming. I'll shout where I'm coming if it's ambiguous but don't often feel the need to.
As for which side, the driver in me keeps left and most other people seem to do that - but there seems to be no hard and fast rule so it's just about reading the situation and going where the other person isn't!

The Peak District is such a stunning peaceful place with no traffic. And nature has taken over. Plus cycling along the canal is so breathtaking and dangerous including when there’s lots of people walking and not giving the right away. So beautiful.

Sadly the Peak District is not a peaceful place I did live on the edge of it for many years and with 5 million? people on its doorstep it can get very busy around the honey pot locations but there are still quiet bits but you just have to know them.
It is a walkers paradise but with it comes the cars and the parking and since lockdown it has got far worse apparently (I now live in Scotland).

Crumbs, I’m tired just watching the video. If there is a secret to getting motivated to get fit enough to do things like this I am all ears. :-)
