- In this video we show you how to remove the front bumper from a Range Rover L405 Mk4 Vogue Autobiography. This could be handy if you need to swap the headlights fog lamps fog lights parking sensors headlamps or doing a conversion to the 2018 or SVO bodykit etc

That literally turns what could be hours of head scratching into 15mins work! Thanks again your making us mere mortal independent L/R mechanic’s look like dealer master techs with these vids!
This is info gold! Thanks again guys for this very helpful video
Another very well made video I really like the idea of colouring the screws that was excellent you guys do make some really helpful and very informative videos have you got any plans for making a front under panel with a replacement one that you can use the front towing eye without having to remove the panel as I do use my l405 for recovery work and this would be very handy keep up the good work guide
Ha Ha ! After watching this I am really glad I have an L322 ! What a nightmare removing that lot. Chris B.
Great thanks need to renew my air conditioning condenser so very helpful
Great vid
Just starting this vid, currently replacing a set of turbos on a tdv6 and must drain/clean out intercoolers 😩😩😩😩😩😩
@powerfulukltd is there a video on how to replace the front grille. I can see there is long metal bit on the front grille where the bonnet probably latches onto. I'm trying to pull mine but it is quite hard and I left it there thining I would break it :)
Do y’all plan to attempt to upgrade the front headlights to the 2018+ RR headlights?
my l405 passenger headlight replacement was cake, just took a part of the bumper pad off and it was 2 screws on the top.
Where can I buy those "fixin's/fittings" from? Some times they break off.
Do i need 2 remove bumper if I am going to remove the headlights on 2011 range rover vogue?
Omg I’m wrapping one of these rn and that’s an insane amount of screws 🤯
good luck - just dont watch my wrapping videos or you will scream !

Hi,
what I see is the emergency braking sensor ... if I change it to the adaptive cruise control one and configure the system, IT SHOULD WORK, RIGHT ???
thank you so much
Superb, great video😊
Cheers !
After a decade in my L322, I have a L405 in the mail. Im toying with the idea of adding a curved light bar between the stock fog lights. Saddened by the fact that LR never made a Bull Bar for the L405.
Congratulations on your new set of wheels ! My friend Craig at CamTech Land Rover has fitted DRL's behind the grille - looks good/ The whole bull bar thing is not popular in the UK.
Thank you bros
Hi guys. great videos as always. Have you got a video of removing the bumper on a L494 sport. Cheers.

Does the front bumper have to first be removed before removing the headlight assemblies? Thank you.
It makes it a lot easier to remove the front bumper.
Do you have a link for the grill fixing video ?
Do all L405’s have that notch for the radar unit already there even if you don’t have the adaptive cruise control feature? Thinking of retrofitting that feature but having to cut out that notch will be a no go.
It looks like all the cars have this cut out - see below parts diagram. But dont sue me if your car does not !

I own a 2013 l405 supercharged and blindspot (side mirror warning light) not working, took into dealership and charged me $400 to tell me its not working and the dont know why lol? yes i know that why i brought it in. the blindspot module was not responding and they need to remove the front bumper to reach module and further diagnose. You noted in the video the block by front bumper is for radar for cruise control, correct? and that not the blindspot module!. where can i find blindspot module and how can i test its working? when i turn on car the side view mirror lights on showing the blindspot how it should show up. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi Oscar - so it seems there is a LH and rH module - they are located in the rear of the boot area somewhere or perhaps rear bumper - its hard to see from the diagram.
The system then reports back to the drivers door module
So you have 3 modules
The module look like this

I did this conversion and noticed on my old 2014 bumper it has 6 parking sensors and on the facelift upgraded version of the bumper it only has 4 parking sensors. will this cause a error on my dash for a light to come on?
Hi - the 2 extra sensors on the car bumper are probably for self parking ( park assist ) function - are they in the wheel arch at the side ?
@@L663 yes you are correct. What do I do with those ?
Brilliant video I don’t have the fog lights in lower bumper on mine but want to fit is this an easy task? Is wiring there or is a big job?
