Build and Paint Ruined Stone Buildings

My gaming group has started playing Frostgrave and I thought it would be fun to make some terrain for my games. Of course, these will be usable for a variety of games.
I used ideas from Black Magic Craft and the Tabletop Engineer as inspiration for this build.
A Proxxon wire cutter definitely makes this a quicker project, but with a little more time, a knife will work as well.
I hope you like the build and that it inspires you to make some terrain for your table.

Nicely done. Another option to use for basing aside from using MDF is EPVC. It's the stuff indoor signs is made from and is very workable. You can usually get sizeable scraps from signage businesses for free.

I’ve heard that before but have never looked for any. I should check it out at some point to see how it works.

@@HerooftheTable It is rigid enough for basing, walls, etc, but you can also shape it with a heat gun.

Thanks for the kind words. The individual blocks are about 1/4" x 1/4" x 1/2".
