It’s truly complete insanity. His passion for his point in fact seems to underscore the importance of a quality bun, and how an overlooked bun can ruin a meal.
I think there can be a take that the bun can make or break a sandwich/burger, as poor ones really take away from the overall experience. But! A fresh, tasty brioche ready to go for my burger? Yes. Absolutely. It enhances the experience for sure.
I thought Adam was gonna say Despicable Me is better than the OG trilogy and I was ready to fight. Then he said new trilogy and I felt every muscle in my body relax
Jesse's hot take last year was take a piece of meat and put it between two slices of bread and this year it was take the meat from between the two pieces of bread and put it on the plate😂
I’m so happy that Jesse has all the time in the world to sit down with a fork and knife and eat the contents hot his sandwich or burger on a plate. I will continue to eat my sandwich/burger with the thing that makes it convenient to eat on the go, which was the whole point of the bread to begin with on said sandwich/burger
Jesse's take on going to the store is 100% correct and I'm so glad it's being said. But I would even go further and say that I've done a full 360 on brands. It used to be that having a certain well-known logo on a product inflated the price far beyond any increase in product quality. Now, I will not buy a product that is not made by a company I know, simply due to the sheer volume of cheap knockoffs that have been allowed to have legitimacy on sites like Amazon or some "less discerning" retailers.

Jesse's online ordering take comes from the fact that he lives in a major metropolitan. I live in Newfoundland and mostly order stuff you can't buy in store, or can for 3 or 4 times the price.
1:00:06 Adam do it, you make good money, treat yourself to an awesome $400+ Lego set, you won't regret it. The building techniques have evolved significantly since you were a kid.
I actually think Adam has a big brain take on the dubas/pens scenario. Karlsson represents the ideal player for this gambit - he’s got all-time talent, but has been sucking for a few years. His form going in either direction is entirely believable and Dubas can pin a large part of the fortunes of the team on the outcome of that deal.
@@morris1345 agreed. Karlsson is smoke and mirrors, getting the reigning Norris winner makes it look like they’re trying to win now but he’s also a super useful bargaining chip if Dubas blows up the team and retains half of his salary for a stack of picks.
To Adam: Sure, at 4 years old, it gets easier, but WAIT FOR PUBERTY. Then it's another 10 years of your kid challenging your every move. Everything you say is a hot take. BACK AT IT!!! LETS GOOOO!!!! Eggplant has been a part of Italian cuisine for centuries, but its status as a staple in Italian food became more pronounced in the Southern regions of Italy over time. Historically, eggplant is believed to have been introduced to Italy from India and the Middle East during the Middle Ages. In Southern Italian cooking, particularly in regions like Sicily, Calabria, and Campania, eggplant has long been a fundamental ingredient in various traditional dishes. Dishes like Caponata (a Sicilian eggplant dish), Eggplant Parmesan (Melanzane alla Parmigiana), Pasta alla Norma, and many others showcase the versatility of eggplant in Italian cuisine. However, the widespread adoption of eggplant dishes as a staple across Italy happened gradually over the centuries, and its popularity grew as different regions incorporated it into their local cuisines. Today, eggplant remains a key ingredient in many beloved Italian recipes, contributing to the rich flavors and diversity of traditional Italian cooking.
I understand what Jesse is saying, but when you drop 300+ dollars for crap seats, not including food, gas and plausible childcare, a close loss seldom causes booing. It's when you can see your team get blown out that causes boo birds.
To Jessies point about not being negative towards players, look at trea turner last year. He was having an awful season and then the Phillies fan gave him a random standing ovation and it turned his season around. He even came out and said that they saved his season
Young Jesse: Mummy, it would be ever so nice to have grilled cheese for luncheon. Hold the bread, though. Thank you, mummy, you're the best mummy in the whole world. Later that day Jesse's mother went shopping and purchased many, many bottles of vodka.
I personally think "Crotch Goblin" or "Sex Participation Trophy" is HILARIOUS - I certainly can't look down on anyone that has had children, it just wasn't in the cards for me.
I think Steve missed a pretty good argument regarding his goalie take in also mentioning that goalies, for the most part, are not consistent enough to warrant such a high contract. Goalies that can put up great numbers year after year are immensely rare these days. Seems to me like that should factor in a lot when assessing contract value. The unpredictability of goaltending is just too high for a team to commit that much money to one player.
It’s ironic how Jessie’s hot take is exactly how the coaching staff treats the leafs players and how’s that working out for us leaf’s fans and the team?
I’m with Jesse a little on the athletes thing. I don’t think I’d ever boo a player for a bad game. A team sure like if the leafs lose 9-3 I’m booing them all in the moment. But they should know om coming back next game full cheer
Ive been on the "Dubas is gonna try everything so when it fails he still looks good" train since the moment he signed there. The Pens have new ownership who explicitly have stated "we didnt buy this to be bad". So he's gonna go out, get what should be a bunch of "big names" so that when the pens still suck he can go to the owners who arent that hockey savy and say "see, I tried! This group is just cooked", and they will agree with him and let him do what he actually wants

Yeah a goalie might play only 45-55 games a season but they are on the ice 60 minutes per games. A goalie who play 45 games will be on the ice for 2700 minutes per season. A player who play all 82 games and spend 24 minutes on the ice (so 1rst pairing defensemen and superstars forwards) will be on the ice for about 1980 minutes. Why shouldnt goalie makes the same amount of money than a player?

Jesse - Bread isn’t needed for sandwiches
BOO this man! Bread is amazing, but to each their own.
Steve - No goalie is going to sign a double digit contract till 2030 or more than12% of the cap
Agree Vasy should be the pace car for goalies, he should have been paid more but the hard cap sucks. Fun fact Eichel is the first double digit earner to win the Stanley Cup.Goes to show you that spreading out the wealth in the cap is the way to go.
Adam - Parenting is way more fun after age 4
WOW what a take Adam, do you also think crimes are bad? In all seriousness who didn’t know this? As the child become more independent, it gets easier to be a parent. What Adam could have said was be a parent can be hard, a lot of the time.
Jesse - Don’t order online and just go in person to the actual store
Nope, review the product, and look at the reviews. If there aren’t any then don’t get said product or take the gamble.
Steve - It is okay to be an optimist
100% too many things now a days are too negative all the time for no reason.
If they sold a hot sauce in Cost Plus or Walmart that was called 'Assripper 3000' that stuff would FLY off the shelves.
