Quick update from my other comment: I reinstalled the app and formatted my glasses while using a VPN on a server in America today and it enabled the meta AI stuff even when I'm no longer using the vpn
I've tried this a couple of times now and still no dice. I'm in australia too, are they turning it off an on or something? does it consistently still work for you?
Anyone got any updates? I done a factory reset but it still didn’t go back to the old firmware. It’s on the latest firmware and still not working properly.
@@fabriziocasula where are you located? Sometimes it can be server issues on metas end. But on a general level , a factory reset, repair the Bluetooth or check the settings on the ap that the permissions are turned on
@@Sonymoviemasters My wife and I purchased Ray-Ban Meta glasses in Miami, but now that we are back in Brazil, where we live, the Ray-Ban Meta cannot access Meta AI and always responds with: “I can’t do that on your glasses.” (We are using it connected to an iPhone 16 Pro). To install the Meta View app, we had to use a U.S. Apple account on the App Store. Some basic commands, like “Hey Meta, take a photo,” work. Do you have any tips to make it work properly outside the U.S. and Canada?
@@calabreseporai Yeah mine actually broke. like physically broke last week, I didnt even touch them, so be very careful around the area where the button is, Ive made a complaint but they told me it wasn;t covered under warranty, I will be making another video on this. little dissapointed, i DID love the glasses so much

apparently it stopped working.. only basic commands like volume up work. I have tried the factory reset and also vpn in USA. nothing works
@@weirkved go into the meta view app and make sure the AI section is turned on .

Mine stopped working again a week or two ago, I'm going to try format it again today . I heard there is a new firmware update in development
