As someone who's played this at competition in the UK (on bass trombone, no less), I have to say - marvellous job! The funk roots are shining through, and the whole band sounds really locked in - both in tuning and timing. And the bass trombone absolutely knocks it out of the park, particularly at 2:25. And the final chord! Absolute magic, thoroughly well done to the whole band!
