About the no taking baths/showers during thunderstorms, it only applies if you have metal pipes since the lighting could travel through them, but if you have like plastic pipes or smth then it doesn't matter.

that's actually not how it works, it is the same as swimming in a pool or the ocean during a storm. bodies of concentrated water (ex: bath) attract the electricity which increases your chances, just never a good ides.
