Hi Avi Noronha, Do you have a part number for the LED stack light you are wiring? You want to ensure that you order the same types of LED for the stack. Example: NPN, PNP. Regards, Garry
I have a click plc and like to see what others have done with them. One thing I suggest is that you lower the background volume as it is overpowering your voice.
I have the LA6-POE but i am struggling in trying to get a Siemens S7-1200 PLC or a Modicon M580 PLC to communicate to the PA6-POE via modbus TCPIP using a single cat5 ethernet cable and a power injector. I can get the PA6 to light up if i use a modbus simulator (e.g. Modscan64) but not via a PLC!! Communication from the PLC to the LA6-POE is via holding registers (4xxxx). Is this something you can provide a short video for?
Hi Davida Wine, I have not worked with the LA6-POE, the M580, or the S7-1200 Modbus TCP communication. Here is a link to troubleshooting Modbus TCP for the M580: www.se.com/ww/en/faqs/FA316343/ It is for a drive but the points to check are good. I also found this video showing the setup of an S7-1500 as the client and the S7-1200 as the server on Modbus TCP. ua-cam.com/video/POast2vW97A/v-deo.html I know that you need S7-1200 as the Client to communicate to the LA6-POE, but this may also be helpful. Hi Thaskar, This would connect in a similar way as the click. DC inputs and relays output. If you have any specific questions let me know. Regards, Garry
@@ACCautomation thank you for replying. For a sample can we just light up only one light rather than all light. I mean giving 1 input and have one output only and Another question is power for the tower and power for delta are from same smps??
@@thaskarthaskaran1425 The website will have the wiring diagrams for NPN and PNP depending on the input type of your PLC. accautomation.ca/wiring-stack-light-to-click-plc/ Here are the specifications of the stack light. cdn.automationdirect.com/static/specs/patlite30mm.pdf You will find the power consumption in the charts depending on the model of stack light. I really, really wanted to get through this video, but the music was just so disruptive. I think I'm extra vulnerable to it since I'm a musician, so the music never sounds like background noise to me. If your voice was significantly louder than the music, I would be able to tune it out, but they were nearly the same volume, and my brain couldn't focus on what you were saying, as this is completely new territory for me. Imagine what it would be like if you had an assignment to sit down and study how a song/music sounds and take notes, and while you're trying to intently listen to the song, a recording of someone talking about programmable stack lights is playing at the same volume simultaneously. It quickly becomes frustrating and mentally fatiguing. I'm sorry for the complaint. I'm sure the content is stellar. Perhaps I'll try muting the video and just going with closed captions. Thanks for your time!
Love the click PLC!
It's a great PLC.

Hi i have a stacked led from direct automation, but as soon as i connect te wires the LED always remains on the ON state and does not ever turn off

Thanks for the comment Osseo.
I'll do that.

@@ACCautomation I already saw that .
If there is any video of delta then please mention.
Thank you

I'm sorry but I do not have any videos of this stack light connected to a Delta PLC.

Hi RuFi0000000,
I appreciate the feedback. Yes, the background music is too loud. Newer videos have been corrected.
Thank you,
Garry
