  • It was quite the windy, cold and rainy week spent in the Mojave Desert along the Union Pacific Cima and BNSF Needles subdivisions. My time was spent between areas west of Las Vegas, Nevada to the Mojave National Preserve in California. So, come along and enjoy. As always, Please leave a comment if you would like and subscribe!

Nice shots! The trains were really running that day. This makes my day as I went out to Apex on 12/4/19 and was rained out! This looks like 11/20/19. I was out at Valley yard that day. Caught the 5517 East @ Wann Siding. Denver Z (8716 East) was late that day and I didn't wait for it. Thanks for sharing.

A 8:30, I don't quite understand the logic of train traffic light...? when the train comes far away, the light is off and when the locomotive is next to the lights it turns red, the light should be red before, right ?
