Warren , I'm 53 , Ive been a Mechanic since about 10 , on the farm in Nebraska . Ive worked on a vast array of equipment but . Ive never know a guy to know as much about So many different damn machines and trucks as you! Your a working fool, be good to those hands ! Mine dont work like they used to .
Loved that crane work making the job easy. Actually turned the sound on my phone just to hear that tractor when running. Brings back memories of dad-diesel mechanic and the machines on our farm. Loved this entire series. You did it, no one else. That owner is going to be happy. You just made him a ton of money. Thanks Warren.
Great video Warren!! I like how you show these jobs start to finish. And again.... screw the trolls and naysayers!!! You are the embodiment of “independent” mechanic; it’s a title you should wear with pride.
Top job as always ,loved the rebuild series, on the gearbox/ plus all the other stuff you give us. Thank you Sir from One of meany of your appreciative viewers. Regards from England/UK
Used a 8400 4wd and getting that tractor rolling at high speed (26-29 mph)got scary. It's a lot of weight going down the road, then if somebody pulls out in front of you. Great job, thanks for explaining how it all works.
Excellent outcome! Im qualified on that model to go at it with a bottle of windex and roll of paper towels! HA! Must feel good to get that floor space back.
Warren, your one of the guys that does the following, if you take it apart you'll put it back together. Ignore those who crab at your work. Normally those are the are chair type who can't do anything but, flap the lips, also known a lip service guys. Great job and super videos from my Master Mechanic Guy, don't for get to hug the lady, she is a keeper. Thanks again.
Sir I enjoy watching your videos and the knowledge you bring to others. I want to thank you for your service To this country but I wish you won’t complain so much we all have rocks to hall.
It still amazes me at the things you can do working by yourself. That would have been a hell of a job with help but yet you do it with none. You should know by now not to pay attention to those who would try and correct you on a subject which they know little to nothing about. Good job as usual and don't be bashfull about expedite fees for those who "want it yesterday" good customer or not. Their lack of forethought should not constitute an emegerency on your part especially if you told them months ago. Just my two cents worth........
The sling nearest you, should be a short one and a one ton chain block to get level. So a chain link up or down gives total control to install whatever. Bill in Brisbane
I think you need jib crane in your shop, look in Grainger catalog . you work on a lot of machines for a one man band. i like the technical information . thank you.
Another one in the books . Nice job bud thanks for sharing 👍 Keep forgetting to ask you if you have tried out that Cummins test lead kit yet I sent ya ? Hope all is well time for a cold one 🍻
I've never been on a track tractor how does the steering wheel turn like a car a couple turns or just so much because of the tracks I seen you turn the wheel not very much and it seemed the tractor turned almost on a dime
Deere must of stolen that idea from an 80's 4400 versatile swather L.O.L. They drove the AC compressor off the shaft drive from the rear of the motor into the main drive line.
That's what the old believer Russians do up in woodburn with their stuff and sewing machines... the women will want their sewing machines done yesterday when its been sitting on the shelf waiting for a OK for 2 months.
Yep. I’ll take constructive criticism from someone that’s been there and done that and knows their stuff but the piss ant critics are just that : piss ants.
In fact its not even enough, because of the higher speeds nowadays driven on and off road, and to kind of maintain the gear ratio, the recent Deere power-shift transmission has 23 forward and i think 12 reverse gears. They call it e23.
Who would take anything to be repaired to a mechanic that is always clean, I bet he used air duster on his keyboard before he typed that stupid shit!!!

@@westerntruckandtractorrepa1353 sounds good. well deserved.
how many hours has that 8300 got on it? seems in the states tractors rack up much higher hours than they do here in the uk.
What’s the weight of the complete pto?
Almost time for a road trip repair ! , you have been tied up in the shop all summer.
16th is for the dirt tracks.
What was wrong it didnt start? Glad I'm not the only one that dumb stuff happens literally every time you go to restart a major project!
Love you knowledge of what you do! You Da Man,. I cant believe ass holes that haven't got a clue, telling you what to do! Keep on with your great vids

I ve great to help you in your work is my wish work with a magic mechanic master
Too bad you didn’t film more of the assembly.
that tractor doesnt sound like a normal 8300 it sounds like our 8220 more than anything
you have to watch those armchair mechanics they know everything
Question here for farmer noliegible people why would you want a tracked tractor over a wheeled tractor???????
Fall3n 0n3 less soil compaction
Woo hoo time for a beer. Oh yea did you check the air in the tiress ? Ha Ha piss on them if they can't take a joke good job !!!!
Good job as usual. Navy experience had to contribute to discipline (and not too much cussin').
Warren
Did I see correctly, the alternator is driven by a pulley on the back side of the transmission? 🤔
Yes
Deere must of stolen that idea from an 80's 4400 versatile swather L.O.L. They drove the AC compressor off the shaft drive from the rear of the motor into the main drive line.
Don't keep on cranking bc you will fry the starter
They make them every day.
Upps, Transmission, not PTO.
👍🏾👍🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Just keep dong what you do Warren ! Never mind the trolls, most couldn’t find there asshole with a map.
That's what the old believer Russians do up in woodburn with their stuff and sewing machines... the women will want their sewing machines done yesterday when its been sitting on the shelf waiting for a OK for 2 months.
👍
Wow you are the man that guy talking smack on your work probably couldn't change the oil in a John Deere lawn tractor ... LMFAO😁
What did I miss..... wish he would leave them up sorry everyone has a chance to see the flogs.
4th speed reverse, warp factor speed reverse mr zulu.
You didn't service the turbo encabulator. I'll be back in a week.🤣
Yep. I’ll take constructive criticism from someone that’s been there and done that and knows their stuff but the piss ant critics are just that : piss ants.
16 gears why does it need that much

Freaken critics!
