That is all quite nice and looks good. My biggest issue is getting paint to stick to Scalextric Sport track.

I have only done this technique on wood tracks. Not sure how it would work on Scalextric track.

You have to clean the release agent off of any plastic track. I used isopropyl alcohol on mine before and after sanding.
So far, the paint’s sticking to my track just fine. You may want to check out @BoonesSlotCarGarage.
