Yea, originally this music was never supposed to come out but their peers heard them and management tried really hard to get the label to allow them to release it
this album high key had no misses lol. my fav things about their songs are the build ups to the end, the cool vibes, and the extra notes they add. yk, like with jacks part in fallin, the ending of love song, the harmonies at the end of be myself, etc

facts about the album: - "For you" influence of EDM is thanks to Skrillex, he produced the song - Jack cried after hearing "Be myself". He was dealing with huge anxiety since it was hard for him to see his daughter due to the pandemic - Just like "Be Myself", Daniel wrote "Love Song" on his own - "Slow Down" samples "1979" by The Smashing Pumpkins - The guys got inspired by the Percy Jackson films when writing the song and getting the look of the music video for "Lotus Inn" - The guys got emotional when hearing the orchestra for the first time be incorporated into "Grey" - When getting the final vocals into "I'll be okay" Daniel happened to get sick and lost his voice so since he couldn't add some layering vocals to his part of the track he decided to distortion his voice - "Look at Me" is the only song in the album that involves four of the guys writing the song. Jack wrote Daniel's part and the guys confessed that it was really hard for them to show this song to their mom's hence the mature content, Zach was the last one to tell his mom - "Fallin'(Adrenaline) has an Easter Egg in the music video. The words "Slow Down" are seen, hinting the name of the next song in the album - The guys said "Stay" was the hardest song to write in the album because they didn't have a general idea of how the song would go. "Stay" ended up going through many changes before it was put into the album Fun fact: Fallin'(Adrenaline) features a special beat which the guys made with a white claw and for "Look at Me" the guys slammed a chicken thigh against a counter for the kick drum
thank you for giving creds to the smashing pumpkins!!! they are literally a blast from the past and i'm excited that a modern day band/group appreciated their work enough to sample one of their best songs
I kinda like the way that they put stay as a closer because it leaves you in your toes and is kinda like a interesting cliffhanger, this album is definitely some of the best work from why don’t we
I feel like part of the reason it’s so great is because they are so proud of it though. Like as much as I’m sure they liked their old music when they put it out there’s a totally different attachment to this album and I love it

this is how i feel the story line of tgtatbo goes: Fallin’ (adrenaline): two people falling in love with each other really fast Slow down: Both of them realising that they need to take the relationship slowly Lotus inn: their relationship becomes more serious and every single time they spend time together they never want the moments to end Be myself: the guy experiences a wave of anxiety where he starts to kind of second guess himself and if he’s worthy or not (not really sure i’ll fix this though) Love song: the guys eventually gets past this and their relationship continues to be good and the guys writes love songs for the girl grey: some big change happens in their relationship which leads to a messy breakup for you: after the breakup the guy says that he will still be there for her no matter what the circumstances are I’ll be okay: since the relationship was ended on bad terms the guy creates a false facade saying that he’s okay when he’s really not and he knows that they were both not meant for each other Look at me: they get together again and hang out then they have a hookup and a one night stand Stay: the morning after the girl is leaving and he try’s to get her to stay but she refused and in the end they both decide that they aren’t good for each other and they go their separate ways. obviously it’s not like that accurately but i feel as if this is the story behind the songs and how they all link together to make the album. Some of my inquiries are a bit odd or might to fit reicht in but again it’s just a accurate depiction of what i think it would be like🤪

Loved your in depth analysis of the album! This was the first album I heard of theirs that I listened to in full and I fell in love with the band and listened to the album for almost a month straight . Another album I suggest reviewing is Love, Pain & Retrospect by Before You Exit. It has a similar story but a very unique sound and feel of their own.
This whole album was written and produced by them, most of the songs were written by Daniel and Jonah with some help from corbyn and Zach, all the instruments are played by them with a little help, Daniel himself plays over 20 instruments, which I think is just insane
