Looks like glam adaptation made for stars. Should be fun but is hard to find. I watched a very enjoyable and solid English version instead (with a bonus of Miss Marple squeezed in), in which dr. Calgary wasn't a main character.
I saw an interview from the cinematographer for this film that both Sutherland and Dunaway were horrible to work with. Both demanding and cruel to the Director to the point that it contributed to the failure of this movie. As it was stated in the screenplay for "All About Eve " Where has it ever been true that the piano writes the concerto?"

Donald southerland is one of the best actors from the 80's
He's no Rondo Hatton but he indeed is one fine actor....

It was that interview at UA-cam with Billy Williams that brought me here ! Funny....I had never even heard of this film before now.
