It’s like you dropped this video right now for me. So many variables that can affect the outcome of the serve. That clock tip is gold! Helps to start in the same position every time.
My playtomic level is around 4 and I make quite a lot of points by varying my slice serve with sudden high speed topspin balls that surprise opponents. Tennis player of course :D
I find your videos very helpful. I'm just starting out, about a month in or so, my serves need work. I'm a lefty and especially serving from left to right is troublesome. I don't have the movement down yet to hit the ball like you do here, all to often they hit net, go too high over the net etc. I'm using my wrist way to much (or it's too loose) when I move to hit the ball and it's gotten really sore after today. Think it's both fatigue for using my body in new ways, wrist included, but def also technique when striking. I want to use body momentum, shoulders more when I move to hit the ball. I'm trying to become more comfortable by the glass and recover/keep balls in play. I make many of the same mistakes I feel..
1 very common error is missing here: don't hit too quick serves, otherwise you might not have enough time to reach proper net position. Particularly relevant for older/slower players (like me), or players in progression. Perfect example for this is Sanyo Gutierrez

I've seen some pros adopt a backhand serve depending on the side they're serving from. Do you have a guide for that?
I see some pros make an extra step before contacting the ball. Lucía Sainz comes to my mind.
