Yeah I think having great options for what you can shoot with is always good. Im just happy to have many tools to just have fun and create with. Thank you for watching the video Prateek. Appreciate your time!
Yeah it is the lack of background separation and bokeh. The small sensor definitely can’t compete there. But in wide shots it would very hard to decipher between the two. Glad we have it now. Appreciate the comment. Thanks for watching 🙏🏽
@@MichaelNgvyenTry portrait mode. I already got rid of my Red’s for Sony’s, in the future I can see myself unloading my Sonys for iPhones. The Ai enhancements almost fully compensate for the mechanical limitations. Plus clients can’t see the difference and their budgets are going to near nothing. It was a fun business while it lasted but quality became too accessible.
in the intro i was right :P looks good but the digital look from the iPhone is still visible, but still very good... a tutorial how you graded it would be cool.
Hey Dan. Nice work! I think the “ digital look” you night be referring to is the iPhone lens lacks the ability for deep depth and good background separation. So everything looks in foucs always. But the footage quality is very good. I appreciate your watching. I’ll definitely work on a grading tutorial. Cheers 🍻
Thank you Chase. Yes the Sony looks amazing of course. It’s really the nice Sony G glass but very very impressed by phone footage. Thanks for watching man. Cheers
I bet if you looked at the files Pre-UA-cam you would observe more of a differential - A7iv would shine more. It's great though that the iPhone looks that good. If you wanted to mix it into your overall project you wouldn't be able to tell. Also the a7iV would probably have larger quality gap if you had a high end lens. GMasters and Sigma Arts
Hey puckhead. 🏒. To be honest. The wide shots looked almost identical. It’s the closer up shots where you could tell. Not because of quality but because of the depth of field and background separation. The small sensor can compete there. I was using a 24-70 Gm at 24 for reference. Just to try and match the 24mm 48mp of the iPhone. Mix footage now for whatever reason is definitely a no brainer. Pretty cool we phones are now this close. Thanks for leaving a comment and watching. Cheers
@@MichaelNgvyen I could be wrong but I believe in Video the iPhone only uses 12mp at 24mm, Its for photos that it taps into the 48mp. Kind of irrelevant to mention. I can tell a difference in the city shots but not the ones in the Forest. The main one that looks worse is the passing Train going by shot. Also I think adding a LUT to any video is going to degrade the images quality. which I am assuming you did. Wonder if you just color corrected with no LUT what the outcome would be. anyway I enjoy your content and honest humble vibe. Keep up the great work. Good luck on the channel growing. 🤙
For a phone competing with a DSLR full frame mirror less professional camera I think it does pretty good job

Thats a very contradicting phrase
Said phone cost 3k 😂I’d be very confused if it didn’t
Apple Log is cool but I feel like it still gives the digital look compared to the clarity and balance of a big camera sensor

the train scene is where i noticed the most difference
Good eye!
Great video bro! I still like the Sony A7 IV 🎉

@@puckhead1221 thanks man. Always Appreciate yours thoughts.
Actually I could see the difference 🤔
Good eye Luis! I mean I would hope people can tell! The Sony is much more expensive!
