I thought it was a misstep in AEW’s part not giving Rosa the belt at Revolution but seeing her crowned in her hometown with that post celebration made me realize how wrong I was! This was her moment and it was more then well earned!

I was there tonight. The place went crazy! My daughter and I shed a tear of happiness seeing a person of the same ethnicity and culture get the ovation she deserved. Amazing night for the Hispanic/Mexican community of San Antonio.

In my 14+ years of watching and loving pro wrestling, I have never been this invested and loved a women’s wrestler more. Thunder Rosa is fucking incredible at what she does and is the first woman in her art to legitimately touch my heart. She is changing the women’s wrestling landscape every day. I’ve adored her since day 1 of her debut and it’s so rewarding to see her achieve what she’s achieved.

That emotion when she won was real, it really meant the world to her.

So pleased for her Melissa completely deserved it, my only one concern through that match was when Auberry arrived the commentator said "They have opened the cage for Aubrey" I was expecting Rebel and Hayter to follow... But thankfully that didn't happen and I couldn't be happier for TR, she has worked so hard for this.

the biggest problem with all this is how cold thier feud was and was rushed to get to this moment it hurt the overall build to the moment imo was a big moment but felt like it could of been bigger had they booked this all better
@@TheFrontzClub Idk about rushed I was seeing people constantly shitting on the storyline and they wanted thunder to be the champ straight away, typical from wrestling fans tbf, I think that crowd reaction was perfect and has ended this fued nicely
@@TMGxCoBrA well the feud was cold for almost a year and then boom hey remember this feud from last year and we all expected they have to be changing the title at the PPV and that match was booked soo poorly it didnt help anything ik shes had help in previous defenses but they went overboard and then they basically give thunder a rematch when other challengers go to the back of the line it was all just a big mess and could of been done way better

Countering the mandible claw (edit: lockjaw) with slamming Baker's hand into the thumbtacks might be one of the smartest & most creative uses of thumbtacks ever in a match (it really needed prime Jim Ross "by god!" ring announcement-emphasis). Gratz to Thunder Rosa, she's going to have an epic 1st run as AEW Women's Champ.

Gotta space everything out, as far as a company is concerned. For the rivalry, the match at the PPV told the story for why the steel cage was a necessity. You don't just put two people in a cage without making it needed first.
My mouth dropped to the floor. I was shocked they actually let that title slip off britts waist. This match was excellent. I was absolutely thrilled to see thunder Rosa finally take her throne. She definitely deserves it. Well done ladies 💯

Again these ladies knocked it out of the ballpark. These 2 are the best in womens wrestling period…..the battles these two ladies have had are already legendary.

That is because AEW had done a good job making these two women look like pro-wrestlers, along with the hard work by these two to better their wresting skills. Other women you usually see are ether too green to be in the ring, or they are models pretending to be wrestlers that no fan want to see in the ring unless they are doing lingerie matches or bra & pantie matches. So much props to AEW for the way build this feud.
