Literally the only reasons Bakugou bullies or hurts deku basically let me give a explanation. Bakugou has an inferiority complex. Ever since he was young, he was highly admired and praised by his peers and teachers around him especially once he got his quirk. Once Deku realized he wasn't going to get a quirk, that's when the cracks between those two began. Deku and Bakugou still hung out and stuff but Bakugou and his gang saw Deku as that one friend you tease and berate. When Bakugou fell down on a river and Deku, the weak "useless" quirkless nobody, offered help to the talented quirk blessed popular Bakugou, he snapped and that's when the bullying really began. Bakugou saw Deku's extend for help as a taunt of weakness to Bakugou. As if he was literally looking down on him. Bakugou couldn't process it.
I feel like deep down bakugo actually cares about deku but has to much of a big ego to say it. But I know that deku still cares for bakugo even after all bakugos done to him.

i’ve read the manga and have gotten to see more of how bakugou feels. they’re rivals but without each other they wouldn’t have that person to push them to get better. they are both racing to the top spot but deep down you can tell they really care. and they are simultaneously helping each other without realizing. some spoilers ahead...after bakugou finds out abt ofa he says things like “better hurry up and make the quirk your own so we can have a real fight” bakugou sees potential in midoriya. and when deku was working on his black wip bakugou was with him every step of the way with all might. ahhh im rambling ignore me😂
It's so amazing the bond they share, how they both care (even if they don't show it that much) and admire each other, and for that push themselves to be better. Yes, bakugou has this big inferiority complex but he's slowly overcoming it while learning how to healthy compete with midoriya. It's not normal how obsessed they are with each other, if one of them was a girl this could potentially be a canon ship but how its not it wouldn't... Also all the strong emotions they've caused on each other, how they're always cheking on each other and the fact that they had their special names since kids, I mean bakugou was an asshole but they were always that close, I don't know, I just think they don't realise it... Anyways I love this ship🥺

Some sad songs or non sad songs have a special meaning for me and i just get sad by listening to it because I’m unconditionally playing my own memories in my head. But i agree with you!
