This game was just like last year's team's that ran all over us buffalo to me was the worst. I was hoping that getting some LB help would make a big difference but when the other teams lineman getting to them at six yards down field it's hopeless. And the Saints are going to be a big problem for everyone but we've got to be better
This is the modern NFL. Within the first minute or two, our defense gets a read on how the wind is blowing. Are the zebra going against us today? If yes, they go into protection mode. Avoid getting hurt. DL Back up ten feet into the endzone if necessary. Safety engage OL and dance a little. CB throw cautious shoulder at the RB. Everybody makes a mild attempt at making it look passable. In the old days, this would get you cut, but I don't see anybody getting cut. That means the GM and his coaches are directing protection mode. And since the Cowboys are the most League interfered with team, this protection mode is the most obvious with them. Last years mediocre team had a great season with the help of the zebras, but in the playoffs, the zebras abandoned them. The Green Bay game wasn't unusual. Every year we see games like this in the regular season as well. Has Derek Carr made a career out of showing up Dak for the 4th rounder that he really is?
Hate to say it guys but its looking bleak this season. Maybe dak gets this offense together like after week4-week5 last season but not sure they have every peace to do that this season. Dallas had just enough talent last season to get by, this season they have to many young guys filling those positions.
