Before you even said "Hey everybody..." you blew my mind with the opening. I don't know where you got it, or if you made it, but for someone who is a bit of a JQ freak (comes from watching the original series as they debuted) you pushed the Big Red Button!! Now... on with the show!!
Good in box review. Though the kit may be disappointingly simplified...I'm sure diehard fans will love it. Plenty of room to super detail and light it up. Thanks. Bill
@@Dirks_NUMA_Files in the future I you or the person who did it .. can do it .... the same montage but the intro in Spanish... would be awesome ... thanks
Oakey-dokey, nice walk-through of the box contents, and a couple helpful hints. On the comments about lighting the interior with LEDs, I'd add giving an internal black-out coating for the interior of the whole fuselage, then get busy with the LED layout. With the engine exhaust having a clear plastic cover, that gives a great opportunity for a flickering yellow-orange-red lighting mix for realism. One might also want to consider spraying the underside/interior of the support base, just in case it could hold batteries for lighting, or even a micro player for the theme song [geeking out here - too much, but...]. All in the name of model engineering, making, and adding "tech-now" [available]. Great production, but one bugaboo with the soundtrack. The volume in comparison to the voice soundtrack was an ear-splitter. I turned it way down in the beginning while the intro was playing [no voice track then], and up when you started speaking, so that was just a minor problem. However, at 11:40 the music track started up again, and almost immediately it overrode your commentary, making your final comments pretty much indistinguishable. No CC capability, so the last couple minutes were wasted on me. Overall, I'm looking forward to acquiring and building this model! Thanks for giving us a great look!! Keep up the good work!!!
Hey, Chris here.....cool kit & I agree, the panel lines are not that prominent, wish they were deeper myself......still in all a terrific kit. Thanks much & I'll speak 2 U soon!!!!!
Johnny Quest, The Flintstones, and the Jetsons were all originally broadcast during prime time evening hours. I remember---because I had to go to bed after watching Johnny Quest or any of the other evening cartoons.
@@Dirks_NUMA_Files Agreed...They mainly catered to an adult audience. For the children, there was the Saturday morning cartoons. Looney Tunes, Hanna Barbera and a host of others for the youngsters.
Wish it was half again as big, and the panel lines were half again as small. Still nice to have one though. After you started to show the decal for the stand, you drowned yourself out with the theme song.
Loved watching this show as a kid. Good luck with the kit.
Bill
Thanks buddy

This intro is bad ass!
It is, too bad the show wasn't this cool. Sure it was good and I watched it all the time as a kid but in that format it would have been epic
Wow, i was actually hoping for something in a larger scale as well. Looks good none the less. Thanks for sharing!
Size isn't everything ya know, Its not that small 🤣🤣🤣
Had no clue this kit exstited.
Now, I WANT one!!
I think they are still available on the ebay but to be fair I haven't looked recently

What can I say? I'm nothing more then a hack when it comes to this stuff... 😆
Yup! Have this, builds easy and details just as easy! Panel lines are easy to pin wash. Great kit!
Glad you like it! I need to build this. Not sure what is stopping me

Nothing a little work with a scribe couldn't fix
Cool kit. I don't think I've ever seen it before??? I'll be watching

A two foot exact kit in heavy injection & thick walled plastic with skii gear would be cool.
I had thought about putting skis on this back when it first came out. Its a good idea
Would have liked the landing skids to have been included as an alternative under carriage. Nice kit tho.
That would have been a nice option, for sure
I'm waiting for Moebius to release a kit of the Phantom Cruiser from Space Ghost
I completely forgot about that ship.
Wow, now I want one.

Dear my friend that a great video👍 I like so much 👍❤️
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it
Cool that you and Chris are both on a Jonny Quest kick. I wonder of Jonny Quest and The Venture Bros. are somehow related.
I always took JQ to be the main inspiration behind The Venture Bros. Yeah.
👍👍👍👍. Looks good. Thanks for sharing
My pleasure BC
got to get a few of these they look cool
Great review I watched Jonny quest all the time also and wasn’t really a fan either lol but I will have to pick one of these up
What scale would you guess that is? Pretty small.
Seems like one of those kits where the real skill will show in the finish and paint.
Very cool 👍
Good Show.
Glad you enjoyed it

To bad you couldn't do a 3D video on the ending credits to....
That would have been cool
