    I mean this is fun to see but I would love to see them lit up! I know that's much more complicated but they all look the same - off :)

    Another excellent unboxing, never have too many LED strips,
    Question, in DJ and pro lighting, in RGB fixtures, the last few years instead of RGBWAUV, they have started putting a Lime diode in with the RGBW, do you think or have you heard if an rgb strip will ever incorporate a Lime diode, apparently it produces a much better pallette of whites and higher CRI figures,
    Thanks as always for the content.

    Still waiting for the day we can have high cri analog quality lights for illumination and digital individually addressable RGB for party time in the same strip. Looking forward to the review.

    I think it's about time we get to see your undoubtedly gigantic warehouse ;-)
    J/k nice episode once again. Those first sets of power supplies really have a nice look to them

    I am new to doing LED stuff. I figured I should go all the way and get the biggest and the greatest, but DrZ doesn't have them in stock. When will the Dig-Octa Brainboard be in stock for USA? DrZ says out of stock. Shipping from China cost almost as much as the brain board and the power board I hate to waste $50 just because I need to ship it unless it's gonna take forever to come another way. Also getting a Power 5. These boards look incredible!

    Would love to see a test of the ultra-wide white analogue strip, those things look like they could be really useful.

    So.... youve discussed the advantages of 24 v over 12v.. i suppose the 48v would be even better?

    I can't imagine how much space all these piles of LEDs are taking up, or how you keep it all organized!

      Ha yeah, it's partly a problem. But I do have a decent sorting system! I sort by analog and digital. And then Analog by type (white or with RGB) and then digital just by voltage. They are all sorted and labelled in bins so if I need a certain strip to do a comparison (new vs old one bought, different type of strips, etc.) I can just grab it. It's growing though, running out of space to store it all. :P

    Any guides on how to install these "bare naked" power supplies? You'd think they would need to be in some sort of box (at least in the US), but then I don't understand how the cooling is supposed to work. ?!

    • @IntermitTech
      @IntermitTech 2 місяці тому

      Yeah generally it's best to have them out of reach, but you can have a box which has ventilation holes or some form of forced cooling.
      Some more popular models you can also 3D print guards for the AC side and such too.

      @@IntermitTech So.... better to stick to the ones that have the high-voltage side already (cable) attached?
