How a Drug overdose nearly ended my farm.

- An accidental overdose at the farm , caused by negligence of administering drugs without reading prescription manual turned out catastrophic. We lost many goats due to organ failure. But we shall fight on until we correct the problem and save goats that we shall be able to save. The fight is on to save the goats.

Hallo miss bwogi am a vet and greatly attached by that sad story u gave us,but don't give up just have regulations on drugs handling and get a trusted vet in your place on your side, though we are always busy but once he o she is near you can not fail to help you out and also try getting your workers trained on basic and simple pharmacology by a registerd vet, thx for sharing and xori for the lose just don't give up

It's frustrating to lose such a significant number of goats.
Those so-called government vets are not helpful at all, l remember l had a sick goat at my farm, I called a district veterinary officer and he gave me a number for the sub-county veterinary officer. when l called this guy instead of first coming to the farm and accessing the situation, he told me to send money.
So sad my mentor and my hero. May God bless you abundantly. May you bounce back 1000 times .You never hind your lose and pain , you used your pain to teach us . Am planning to start goat farm a d am your UA-cam follower and when ready God willing I will come to learn from your farm. Am a Kenyan.

This is so touching sorry Bwoji. Me l had to drag the extension worker to courts of law when l got an outbreak on the farm where by l lost 50 kids. These pipo will never be available when u need them. Continue giving them alot of water and alot of mineral salts especially Katwe . Overdose can make run made l lost 20 cows in 1 weeks

Sorry for that unfortunate incident madam Grace, nevertheless I encourage you to be strong we always learn from mistakes.
I see your a strong woman who knows what you want. That's not the end. Don't give up. Every problem has solution. For me what l can advise you is to let you have some food trough containing rock salt hence enabling to reduce the risks of your goats easily dieing due overdose.

Sorry dear,,, almost the same thing happened to my farm, I lost 60goats in three. But the cause of that tragedy was getting free goats from government,, they gave me 50 sick goats from Dr sembeguya's Farm.
