Wow, these videos are great Dr. Vahid jaan! I was struggling with applying constrains on the paths and just realized you have an update on this video. Thank you for investing your time and expertise so generously.

Hi Vahid, Really like the clear way you explain SEM across all your videos. Just noticed you're always trying to compress your maps onto the A4 template. I generally prefer setting my workspace to Landscape for my more complex models. Just a suggestion.

Hi Vahid, I've been using AMOS for a while. I don't understand why in a multigroup model, the factor loadings of the latent seem to flip from one group to another. So loadings may be positive in one group and negative in another, totally reversing the meaning of the factor. Do you know why and how to prevent that?

Is is also possible to choose a horizontal paper sheet as background?

Yes, look at the view menu in the upper toolbar for configuration.

Thank you so much for this video. I am trying multiple comparisons for three groups and this is the only video I saw comparing 3 groups. How about the post-hoc test for the three groups? Thank you

Thanks for the video. I have been learning SEM for a few months for my PhD thesis. My big question that I cannot seem to find anywhere is, if you do model modification because say the hypothesised model has a poor fit, should you do it on the all/default model that uses both groups? What if the default model has a good fit if you do not do a multigroup analysis, but when you do perfrom multigroup the model suddenly has a poor fit?

it probably indicates that the parameters are quite different across the different groups, and the multigroup model should be chosen.

In that case, you should stick with the model with the better fit.

Hey! I have a question. Can I do this multigroup with 4 groups? Your help and guidance would be appreciated in this regard. Thank you

Hi, I am trying to make a model to examine the relationship between culture and entrepreneurship levels and I only have 43 countries in my sample but I used cluster analysis to create groups and now I want to do a CFA. Should I do it for each cluster? When I try to do CFA(Confirmatory Factor Analysis) for all, the model fit values are getting pretty low. But when I try to use CFA for each cluster Amos says my sample size is small. What can I do to solve this?

As a rule of thumb, there should be 10 to 20 people per item in SEM analysis. Yes, you can test if CFA fits per cluster.

What if I have multiple groups like Gender, Age, Income? Can we perform SEM considering those multiple groups at the same time?

Include them all in the analysis, just like the gender.

Dear Vahid, I believe you should have removed the link between attitude and language (with a p-value of 0.946) to improve the model. :)

When i try to run the model a message saying " the model is probably unidentified. In order to achieve identifibilty, it will probably be neccesary to impose 2 additional constraints"
    🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

You will need to fix one parameter (ie, regression weight) in each measurement model to 1. I have explained how to do it in the video. It should solve your issue.

NIce Job Dr. Vahid Aryadoust, However, the Video is blurred for the first 12minutes of the demonstration which is the basis to understanding the concept and idea. I will appreciate if you can do the Video again and make it clearer. Thanks. Also I need to get your email address to communicate with You Dr. Vahid
