Ah mate, just what I needed this week, had the funeral of my best friend of 34 years yesterday. Motor Neurone Disease, aged 51, just devastating. He loved the outdoors but never had the confidence to get out alone. Over the years I got him out in the mountains and bush crafting and the joy it brought was epic. This vid had really uplifted a s**t week!
When me and my mate go his favourite thing is screaming police with a dog with his phone torch on gets me every time bless him 😂 my favourite thing to do is tell him not to worry he's with the weird guy in the woods what else can happen.😂
Cheers for the shout out shagga much appreciated! Love the content as always, u give me the bug more n more 2 get back out n do what I loved years ago! The kit list is building for the potential of joining a community camp in the near future bud x
I use a woodstove to heat my house in winter a lot, and I have to say, I've learned a LOT about fire building from watching these wild camp videos. I've also learned a lot about other things that I can use at home, especially in "survival" situations such as power outages no matter what the weather. Thanks for sharing all y our knowledge and adventure with us.
I learn so much watching your videos man from tips to your cool slang terms n words . Keep it up bruv Don’t ever lose you ! In one year from now If you speak it loud to the universe and believe it no matter what You’ll have all that you speak You can have 50 acres before you know it There is no limit Keep going Keep being you and I tell ya you’ll be swimming in wealth soon enough I feel it
Another cracking vid there. Some interesting and helpful bits and bobs to , especially about having a fire in the pines . I always feel a bit dubious about it but what you said there makes sense. Still probably won't always have one though, shines up like a beacon 😂. Anyway got the snow in the end 👍. Take care Craig 👍🏕
Thanks for the latest video Craig.good tip with the dead finger .will e using that technique. Becky was in bed so carried on watching some videos you made couple of yrs back.seen them before but even more epic second time around.thank you so much for sharing them.keep on keeping the faith lad👊👊👊👊🤘🙏♥️
SHAGGERS!!!!! Top stuff Dude, much appreciated reading out my question! love to see the Tangfastic mix up! I have one of them wild forest pizzas too, it was taste! Great video Man!
Great instructions on lighting the fire. We always put down a raft of logs when building the fire, this stops a vapour barrier from forming in the early stages and putting the flame out. Also, as you say, it gives you a two-way fire. Enjoyed the video Cheers from the mountains of NZ 😀😀
Hello East Anglian, great chilled video, some good questions you answered, at least you got your snow camp, what a bonus. Love the little tips you give out on bushcraft to help others. Stay well , safe travels.
Great to see you out in the snow, all be it light and not around for long. Good tips on the fire, keeping the ground safe and a bigger pit.........came across a totel wreck of a fire near me recently with 2 wannabe wild campers trying to do a Ray Mears and failing on an epic scale. Still, try to talk to some younger people and they get gobby asap, rather than accept someone doesn't want them to burn the neighbours woodland down!
18:05 Buddha's Blessing by Satya smells just like some parts of the forests here in Oregon. Cedar or something in it ? not sure, but burning it when the weather is too bad to get out reminds ya and sort of brings you back. Karma is another "High Vibe" scent from Satya as well. Cheers on sharing your proper fire building how to, great lil spot you found, Thank you for the video !
Appreciate you man, I'm new to all this and trying to be responsible when I go wild. It's good to hear the constant reminders to be careful and respect the surroundings you're just starting to love. Best thing is, if we can master the respect outdoors, we can bring some of those lessons with us when we're forced indoors again. I know I respect and appreciate my home and my people more as a result. Keep it clean dude! mentally and physically. Love your work.
Yes. That was really entertaining. It was like listening to a mate in the pub who's living a more interesting life than me and just enjying learning stuff. Really enjoyed that - although I should have been supping a beer as I watched it. Many thanks. 🙂
Great video mucker, the mess some people leave behind is shocking. You should as you do yourself leave a location as you found it, great work epic videos
Canada is one of a few places I would love to camp, but Alaska in deep winter really appeals too. Outdoor boys Luke really inspires me to go there one day. I’ve got family in Australia and in the next couple of years I plan on going and them showing me where good camps are
Batus was a good exercise in Canada. We broke into the cookhouse after a night out. The CSM said that the bears are clever because they cooked the steaks and washed up afterwards
I always laugh at those questions about the fear of camping as whenever I've seen anyone while out camping on my own, last time it was some group of lads who looked lost in the dark so I waited for them to get a little closer and tried pointing them in the right direction and to be fair it scared the life out of them while I was just stood there on the top of the hill next to them under a full moon. How they couldn't see me was beyond me
Great vid as per love the snow coming down and a great tip for the the tumble dryer fibers i have used this tip but i found it burnt to quick so i tried with stuffing a toilet roll tube so i last longer even for windy days but great shout out love the fire pit idea as normally take a twig stove or my portable fire pit
