    I've said this on other channels as well, so it's not just to nit pick one family, but I think we need to be careful when we say it's the Lord's will or the Lord is moving us, when it also may be a desire that you're wanting to see come to fruition.
    Regardless, of whether or not we agree with your decision (which of course is your decision) I'd caution this family to be careful with posting more content regarding moving. This is an extremely difficult market and I know there are so many families at my church here in florida that are still stuck in apartments, and grateful nonetheless. To just be in a home, much less build your own, then move a couple years later, then move again... please stop and consider the environment around you if you'd like to retain some relatability with your audience.

    I can’t help but think of New Testament Joseph, who moved, from country and country as the Lord led for the sake of His family. I’m so proud of you guys. The world doesn’t need to understand these moves. Dear Moses said Lord I won’t go up unless you go with me, and I’ve come to learn this is ever the posture of your hearts. ✝️🆙❤

    In the "blessed season" of caring for little ones in the midst of many changes, the LORD TAUGHT ME... BITE-SIZE, slow and steady, snacking on His Word, go gentle.
    I would set HIS WORD out... on the car dash, on the bathroom counter, on the kitchen table and by my bed.
    If all I could do was SNACK on His Word, 10 minutes at a time, it kept me greatly encouraged for the day.
    Playing PRAISE MUSIC in the van, in the home or singing quietly or loudly, also fed our souls, regularly.
    PRAYING together or alone, was absolutely something that could be done 24/7 🙌🏼 while changing diapers, nursing the baby, resting, cooking or driving.
    Hope this encourages you 😊 I'm the mama of 7 adult children (now) and Grammy of 11 (so far). The Lord was my refuge, all the years raising them and still is :-)

    Give yourself 2-3 years before making major changes with your landscaping. Often, your body will get accustomed to the new pollens and the new environment, and build up different tolerances. A little patience and time will genuinely help!

      @loveeveryone-nq1hxI’ve see your comment multiple times. You are seen and heard. If you make $300-400k a year and can buy a house with cash, amazing! If you don’t, then a loan is the way to go. Debt is never a good thing, but the way the government is controlling, it’s the best way to get a house, work to pay the loan off asap. This allows you to grow a garden and grow meat to help be much more resilient than relying on the broken food system. Becareful taking a verse out of context. That is very sticky ground to do that. God knows your heart, but this isn’t the way to go about things

    Indeed to what deborah said. My husband I felt like we were supposed to move a couple months ago, i prayed and prayed on it, got confirmation after confirmation an exact promise was “ I’m doing a new thing and words from my pastor during worship after I cried out to the Lord because I really wanted to know if it was him or not, his words were “somebody’s going to get a house they didn’t labor for, and it’s already done for you” I was told from someone else. Long story short this was a trial allowed by God to see if I would only follow him when it suited my passions and my dreams, to see if I would love him more than the fantasy I had for myself. To see if I would practice biblical faith and apply and walk out contentment. His promises were true, It was already done for me in this 2 year old practically new house that I have, it’s not perfect or super aesthetically on point but I didn’t have to labor for it and it’s surrounded by wonderfully community and people who are talented to help me change some of things I’m not particularly fond about with this house lol. There’s nothing wrong with dreams and God can give them and use them but after all of this I’ve learned sometimes faith is staying and not constantly moving on to greener grass. God can make your grass greener right where you are and if you’re tempted like me to think oh let me show others this big miracle and who God is by chasing stuff and God giving me things, please know people A.) God is bigger than what he can give you and B.) He will be seen and known even if you don’t get the brand new shiny whatever, the awe in him isn’t in what he can do for you. Praying this blesses somebody, love you all. Seek the Lord and follow his commandments, the heart can be deceitful and can set you back from what God has for you truly, freedom, peace, joy, not always materials.

    LOVE this for you guys!!! 🫶
    It's beautiful to see God answer prayers in ways we don't expect! I really appreciate the point about not making your home an idol. My husband and I felt like we were supposed to buy a house this year but things just recently fell into place for us to rent a house. The Lord's hand was all over the situation. He fulfilled our desire to be in a home just differently than we expected. There's something beautiful about living open-handed, trusting God's guidance, AND the vision/desires He's given you for your life. Praying for you guys as you continue living that way!! Thanks for always being so bold and encouraging with your faith! Good luck with the home reno 🤍

    I know you guys said in your Sunday Send how you know the Holy Spirit is when it is wrapped in peace, and I wanted to admonish you that peace isn't a feeling for one, two, there were several times in the Bible that people were led weren't at “peace” for instance, Jonah and Moses etc. I just wanted to admonish that, you should learn to walk with God beyond what you feel and seek his will in the WORD first. I am led to say this and I hope it blesses you! Because God isn't an author of confusion. Have a lovely day❤️ love you guys!

      It does seem like they are chasing peace. Spiritual endurance comes from trials while having His peace during it. Everything and anything can feel like a "God story". But I am sure the Lord is revealing things along the way nonetheless. 🙏

    • @hannahw8073
      @hannahw8073 5 місяців тому +9

      i don’t think there’s anything wrong with chasing the peace of God! it’s a fruit of the Spirit that we can certainly look and pray for!
      with both Jonah and Moses, they didn’t have peace because they ran from what God was calling them to. that doesn’t mean that when they turned from their disobedience, it was easy. heck no! the tasks God wanted both men to do were daunting! but you can certainly be at peace in the midst of challenges, especially when it’s where God is leading you
      it is important, though, to discern between perceived peace (what you want to happen, where you see yourself going) and genuine, holy peace (walking in obedience to God’s leading)

    • @Froggy_Rocks
      @Froggy_Rocks 5 місяців тому +3

      @@hannahw8073I love this response. In particular being able to discern between our perceived peace vs God’s peace. What I like to ask myself in hard times when I make life-changing decisions is;
      “Before doing anything, what was God’s purpose for me being placed _here?”,_
      “Is making this decision going to bring me closer in my relationship with God?”
      “Am I making a decision to only satisfy my own desires?”

    • @deborahyellowduke5260
      @deborahyellowduke5260 5 місяців тому

      @@hannahw8073 we were never told in the Bible to chase peace first, secondly, I never said or insinuated that they were chasing God's peace. Also, Jonah and Moses as you stated correctly were in the midst of anxiety when they were told to execute God's will, and in the later verses they did go, Jonah went to Nineveh and Moses to Pharoah, another example is the Lord himself in the Garden of Gethsemane, he was about to be crucified, he knew it was God’s will yet he was anxious “He told them, “My soul is crushed with grief to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”
      ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭26‬:‭38‬ ‭NLT‬‬. Also in John 16:27-33, Jesus said he is leaving with us with his peace. If we have him dwelling on our inside, we have peace, which isn't a feeling but an assurance and the person of the Holy Spirit. I hope you understand what I am getting at. Love ❤️

      @kaylanfomby7506 5 місяців тому +2

      @deborahyellowduke5260 just a small thing to point out, Jesus is the prince of peace and you can totally feel deep grief and sorrow while also being at peace in your soul about it ... and I imagine even in his grief and sorrow, Jesus wasn't anxious but rather depressed that day.

    The unknown vs the known will of God🙌🏽🙌🏽 so good! Learning to live open handed, open hearted, willing and able to do what the Lord has called us to do. Learning to be open to what the Lord has called us to do is a life long journey. I’m not called to do everything perfectly as Chad said, we can’t, but learning how to adjust as the Lord has called us to and move forward continually being obedient to what he has called us to. So good!

    At this point, it’s hard to receive encouragement from these influencers/content creators that have SO much money. Of course Gods provision seems prevalent in their lives when they don’t have to struggle with money, they can buy multiple house, not worry about getting groceries etc. my husband works full time and I’m a stay at home mom, unfortunately society pays content creators more money then hard working people in actual job forces.

    • @SL-vn8rx
      @SL-vn8rx 5 місяців тому +10

      I definitely understand your heart behind this - there’s always still an opportunity to find encouragement when looking at their journey as a whole and be assured that what God can do for one, he can certainly do for you! Our faith is not just about arriving at having lots of money there’s definitely contentment that we need to learn. ( Philippians 4:11-13) The enemy has made us overlook the daily provisions the Lord makes, our basic necessities.
      It would also not be fair to say they don’t work hard - of course there’s a bit more of an ease but be encouraged that this is something you could also do. They shouldn’t be shamed for the growth they’re experiencing. We go from glory to glory and we are to be fruitful!!
      You are currently a stay at home mum and I pray the Lord will grant you with innovative ideas and ways to use a hidden blessing to your advantage. I know many women would love to be a stay at home mum, we all have our own blessings. Maybe a business is over your life or even content creation. Whatever it is in this season may you find it and may God give you strength❤️

      @loveeveryone-nq1hx hi! I honestly am just going to reply what came to my mind first, so someone else chime in if you feel I am not saying things properly. But I think that house debt is unfortunately hard to get around. Yes, there are plenty of story’s where people buy a home with cash. It’s a blessing to be able to do so! However, I think the Bible is highlighting that it is a struggle to be in debt and to be carful about it. Make wise choices when considering your money that is essentially Gods money. I think for each family, how they deal with money is a conversation between them and God. Tory and Chad have said that they feel peace with this decision and they prayed about it. I don’t think this couple said anything about being in house debt.. who knows, maybe they bought the house with cash? But it truly is none of our business. Maybe they are not a slave to this debt because they prayed and have systems in place to pay for this house in which is providing a home for their family. I hope that made sense? Basically, I think the Bible is warning us against debt because it can be a huge burden if it’s not carefully thought through/if you make financial decisions without God. But I believe this couple carefully considered it and prayed about it. Also, it’s really not our business if they are in debt or not ❤️

    Some ways I’ve incorporated time with God in my super busy life with 2 little boys is to pray over them while doing mundane chores, like getting ready in the morning, doing dishes or folding laundry. (Advise from Milena Ciciotti) or when I’m up in the middle of the night with my 9 month old, I listen to the Bible through the Bible app on my phone with AirPods, instead of scrolling social media. It’s so hard to find blocks of time during the day but I know that God knows my heart and that I’m trying to spend time with him throughout the day even if it’s small little pockets of time. I wish you guys the best of luck in your new home and for as crazy life can be and being stretched thin, you will look back on your life and wonder how you did it all. You’re such an inspiration to your boys, showing them how hard you work. They will look back when they are older and think “my parents love me so much and did what was best for me” even if it does seem crazy to others. Love you guys!

    This was very encouraging and inspiring you guys and thank you for opening so candidly. To hear the truth of this earth really isn’t our “home” thus being open handed in our stewardship and entrusting God wherever he leads us really spoke to my heart- and spoke into upcoming decisions too. Truly, and the concept of not making our “homes” an idle, was powerful- which I’ve never thought of like that and is so true, particularly because it’s temporary too. ❤I heard someone say this recently and it really spoke to me, which was ‘don’t worry if you missed God in a decision, because He’ll always find you and redirect if needed’ indeed full trust in Him. 🥹🙏🏽Roman’s 8:28. I pray this home is filled with the most beautiful memories for you and your growing 👀families. 😅🙏🏽💕 Lol, really, thanks again for all this value!! In Jesus Name. ❤

    You guys, I thank you for being so real. I feel like my husband and I are also in this kind of an "open hand" season where whatever happens, happens for the goodness and glory of God. It is so important not to love anything more than God so that He can truly be the Shephard of our lives. Also... Life IS better without TV!!! I AGREE!! I realized how much of a distraction TV is... my husband and I also love watching it while eating together. But the Lord has revealed to me that it is where I go when I am avoiding the presence of God or trying to fill some kind of void/"boredom", and that grieves the Holy Spirit; which we should not do for the sake of our souls ("Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption" Ephesians 4:30). Continue to remember this moment and this feeling when you feel overwhelmed in the future. If the Lord brought you here and worked everything out, He will not leave you! So do not be troubled and always remember what God has conquered and opened for you! He is always ahead, behind and beside you, even if you feel He is silent. God bless you guys!

    I have been listening to this couple for a long time and saw the transition from this is the home that we will have in forever, Florida to God is leading us to a new place. It seems like a bunch of BS. Where is “God going to lead you next“? Set the scene that this couple he’s trying to find their new home in the next yard over. Won’t be listening anymore to the rationalizations.

    Might be moving to Nashville soon, was literally in Franklin/Brentwood 2 weeks ago looking for a place so maybe Ill run into you all sometime :) & I second the person who said try local honey-you should also be able to get some local pollen at more natural food stores & astragalus is good for allergies & stress (its an herb/root just might want to check if youre breastfeeding, can get it as a supplement or tea) I work in medicine & tell ppl about eating pollen all the time for allergy problems/nutrients lol but anyways have a good day :)

    buy a land if you are bothered by noises or construction, because people will always have something that eventually bother you. It's an absolute thing that you guys can't escape.. If you set your sail to the current wind then you wouldn't be able to set foot to whatever destination you have in mind

    I don’t think it’s a good move to work with BetterHelp, with all the controversies and allegations… It’s beginning to be quite annoying to see them sponsor almost every video I watch here on YT 🤦‍♀️ I think we know about them enough 😉

    • @Honeyandjoy

      How do you think they feed their kids? This is how they make a living! I don’t mind at all because this is what makes it possible for them to do this! This is such a sweet couple with great hearts! All we have to do is hear about their sponsorships and we get free content! I wish people understood that if they don’t do sponsorships they’d have to go out and get a different job. I think we should be more supportive of creators

      From my understanding once you have a contract with a sponsor regardless of what comes to light,how you're views of them have changed etc your stuck in contract. I agree with the above poster "this is how they are able to support their family" I also agree that it's a bit annoying and yes especially hearing the controversy about better health,doesn't sit right when people some may look up to are recommending them. Unfortunately I think this
      Is one of those gray area situations where we have to use our own discernment an make are own decisions whether or not we want to support this couple based on who they are willing to use as a sponsor

    Fruit takes time to grow. If you're walking in your flesh, the fruit will reveal that. If you are walking in the Spirit, the fruit will reveal that.
    IN TIME, the decisions we all are making reveal the intentions of our heart. That's the beauty and humility of letting time unfold.
    Your property is beautiful. Expect the renovations with little ones to be challenging 🙃. The beauty is, if the LORD called you there, He will provide you the strength, patience and wisdom to stay, without complaining of the refining process.
    God bless you, on this new precious season :-)

    Just wanted to encourage your current decision to not have a television in your home it sounds so crazy to people, however, when I first moved out when I was 22 I decided I did not want to own a television. I truly wanted to have a peaceful home where I made all the rules, I did not grow up in a Christian home. Now being married six years, we have not owned a television either. We have two under two., 2 sweet baby girls 🩷🩷 I truly feel like our home has such a great peace. It’s not to say we never watch things, my husband and I have a movie night occasionally after our babies are down and it is nice. I also let my toddler watch some thing a couple times a week, just not a daily thing. But on the day today, I enjoy the quiet and my kiddos know no different. Typically when I go to someone’s house who has a television they always have it on, it’s like a constant background noise and it is so overstimulating for me. To just constantly have something speaking at you or to you. If we are going to have something playing, I truly enjoy listening to worship music and sermons. I much prefer listening to podcasts than television shows anyway. But it is happy to hear some other people experience and enjoy the life without a television. It is just so easy to get distracted and let some voices into our lives. Wish you all well 😊
