- There are so many useful command line utilities that can help troubleshoot problems on Linux. In this video, I will cover some of the commands that I've found most useful as long time Linux desktop user.

7:10 to skip the chitchat at the start while he is waiting for others to arrive.
Okay, did he say about rm -rf?
11:05 Let be real here, everyone I know says "System Control". Also "Journal Control" and "TimeDate Control" for "systemctl", "journalctl" and "datetimectl". Just because a solitary kubernetes developer says "KubeCtl" isn't "Kube Control" but "Kube-Cuttle", shouldn't mean the rest of the server eco-system has to forever say "C T L".
great content .... keep it up
i love you
I hope you list of command in description 🙏
The thumbnail for this video is a little ridiculous, please don't go that route. You've got good quality content, you don't need to play circus.
This is the kind of thing you need to do to get the algorithm to notice you. It's an unfortunately reality.
some people just cant take a joke
Agreed 100%. Some may think this is necessary, but I have multiple channels that don't do this much larger than my bald stud muffin here. I find (except Dtube) most channels that resort to this have misleading or hohum info in the video...
Lmao, what rock have you been under? Dude's been doing goofy a** thumbnails since I started watching, which was a hot minute ago.
What's your problem, this is UA-cam not some academic website
What's that gtk and icon theme at 58:10 ?
Where can i find a distrotube video about how to fix sound problems on linux? If you don't have could you do one. Is very common distros linux ubuntu specially not recognized sound drivers. Thanks
I asked the question I'm sure everyone was like "WTF," but I really would like to see some videos on shell scripting. I'm sure others could benefit, too.
Also, Wendy's coffee... 🤮
how do you solve the first scroll getting ignored on some programs? without using imwheel.

oh i missed it. sad
Sorry rather new to Linux, do I simply install tldr as a snap package? Im still figuring things out if so is it just "sudo snap install tldr"? Im running a fresh install of Manjaro plasma and I'd rather ask then mess up my system again lul. I've been using Linux mint previously. Have had a lot of trial an error using Linux thus far but it's been fun, kinda lol. Thanks for any help.
Most people say don't use snaps. For tldr, just use the package manager for your system. For example; on Arch use packman -S tldr
@@boirfanman Thanks for helping the little guy out, I appreciate it!
@@Voice_0f_Liberty Don't put yourself down. We're in it together here.
@@boirfanman Much obliged, it's been rather intimidating being new to the Linux world and diving into computers as whole. It's nice that there are friendly communities and people like yourself willing to help even with things that may seem very simple can be difficult when I don't have the experience or know how. In do time I suppose lol. Cheers friend...! ;)
@@Voice_0f_Liberty Of course, man. Take your time. I've tried a few times to learn about Linux over the last 15 years or so. It takes patience but it's fun. And don't worry if someone is being nasty. It's not because they are better than us. It's because they are worse.
You look like Anthony Fantano in the thumbnail
Does dt likes cooking than Linux videos

Great info for those who actually understand Linux nomenclature.
Now, how about a video of useful commands to understand your useful commands?
