- The first edition of the Minecraft Demon Hunt series recorded by Shiny and his friends. Shiny would become Kokushibo and has to survive for 1 hour without getting killed by any of the 9 hitmen.

I have been experimenting the demon aspect. Being a pure demon would make demons your friends, like the demon slayers are yours as a demon slayer. I think they are hostile to you because you are classified as both a demon and demon slayer, and since they are hostile to demon slayers, they are hostile to you. Though I noticed the demon slayers are not hostile to you at first, so the demon slayer allegiance probably is overtaking your demon allegiance. Dunno as I notice later in the video they also aim at you first. More for me to test then...
Although, you had no reason to be classified as a demon slayer also as a demon could continue consuming muzan's blood, even if at max power. It will give more hearts the more consumed.
Of course, attacking either side first makes them hostile back. regardless of which side you are on.
From my test, being a demon slayer then turned demon wipes your demon slayer allegiance. Changing it over to demon side. What's probably confusing you is the fact that the A.I. looks t you but a nearby demon slayer or player who isn't aligned with demons came nearby. Usually most boss A.I. with demon arts, I.E the upper/lower moons open with a blood arts attack. Thing about A.I. using blood arts/breathing arts is that they are AOE against other players and hostile A.I. with some exceptions to a few attacks that explode, like Moon breathing art 16, or Doma's ice particle attack stuff. And let's us add, breathing arts like dead calm is fine because it's a target style AOE, while things like wind having a projectile 3 claw like ranged attack can and will hurt even allied A.I.
So, it isn't what side being confused that is happening. It's that some attacks hurt allies anyways. But if an NPC is looking at you, sometimes you will throw an attack AOE that can hurt you since it selects attacks at random. Basically the NPC shoots their attack before fully targeting on it's desired person to attack.
As for attacking hostiles, regardless. This only happens when you physically hit them the traditional Minecraft why if left click straight on or bow styled range attacks. Which all the breathing arts/blood arts don't do as or yet. Still giving props to the mod author, they have done some amazing work. But there are Minecraft limitations and tiny details being left out.
TL:DR They aren't targeting him, they just use AOE style attacks that hurt everyone except themselves equally.

I feel like using Fourteenth form instead of Sixteenth would’ve been more useful since it has more crowd control

This is so much better than any other Demon Slayer mod content I've seen this far! Though, you do tend to just spam one move.

He just has a low render distance with the foggy setting I think but he may have shaders. The reason why i said he didn t have is bc water looks the same as in normal mimecraft
For this video, I've actually used no shaders 😁. There are few minor editing enhancements though.

Hilariously enough, this is similar to the Kokushibo fight.
If all pillars fought Kokushibo, he would've been killed, due to how many he would have to focus on.
He did have trouble with three of the strongest pillars, and one who could use demon powers, so of course he would be overwhelmed with all pillars coming after him.

The last 5-10 minutes are where they had you *so* close. If they had you in forest they could've possibly gotten you, they just needed to *corner* you and couldn't- especially once you were down to final 20hp.
