I'm rooting for Ms. Thailand to win that time. Although it was a tough competition. Top5 candidates are all deserving. As a filipino and asian love to win my fellow asian like Thailand.
She got some eye irritation during the contest, i felt bad for Fahsai, but she represented Thailand so well and Asia in the top 5. So sad Gazini did not able to join her in top 10. ❤❤❤ til next year again. 🇵🇭❤🇹🇭

I do believe Gazini cannot win that night. her opening statement deserve in top 10.

Any contestants could win, not only ASEAN. Next year going to be Americas or Europe winning the crown. Asian and African has been winning several years already, so the judges will give it to Americas and European delegates.
This year ASEAN consisted of strong contestants. The judges has to pick the ones with the most votes via social media. Same criteria every year picked by continents.

After those two Top 10 performances my Top 5 was: Thailand, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Peru and Colombia. When I saw the Q&A portion I thought the Top 3 was going to be: Thailand, Mexico and Puerto Rico. I like the winner but in my opinion, Peru ran circles around South Africa in every possible way. Kind regards from the Dominican Republic my Thai people.

I think that Thailand had the strongest girl in history, but wtf the question !!
Thailand deserved to be in the Top 3. I was not a fan of her. But I have to say she did great in the top 5. Her answer was harder to respond to. Her main fault is that she did EXACTLY What Catriona Grey did, when she was faced with the difficult question that involved an issue very sensitive to phILIPine government....Catriona PLAYED SAFE... Miss Thailand did the same thing. BUT she was more Eloquent. The judges do not understand Public Speaking. Thailand was being careful with her reply. But it did not make her answer less intelligent. But It was expected that the judges will not understand how she was actually BRILLIANT with her reply. Catriona only spoke 2 sentences. Miss Thailand said a lot..... but she should have taken a side. Still she explained PERFECTLY..... and she was very CONSISTENT with her grace and poise. It was not fair, Thailand did not move to the top 3.
How could you answer a dilemma question - privacy vs. security? You need to either take side or be neutral. She however chose to be neutral and her answer was rather diplomatic. This did not please the judges who might prefer the privacy issue. This question was in fact not fair for Fahsai compared to others with open-ended questions; it was intended to kick her off. No matter how good her response was, the panel had already picked the one they like. MU is an American business linked with politics and private Latino companies, so no fair game can be expected. That is why many countries did not sent their queens or withdrew in the last minute. Business is business!

We could still use some magic in this mad world. Yes, they want to kick her off the Top 3. Perhaps because in the end, they didnt want another CATRIONA GREY... sHE DID what Catriona did in the Top 5. EXCEPT catriona only spoke 2 sentences... and her fans would often say, she is the most intelligent Miss Universe of all time. Thailand is not EXOTIC enough... They opted for the black girl with the short hair....the ALL FEMALE judges, who are suppose to represent EMPOWERED women.

She is a biracial girl who knows how to play Miss Teen USA like Catriona did. She is not necessarily copying Miss Grey, when she decided to exploit her fluency in English or ability to mimic the walk of the gay men who trained her. Miss Thailand, did a great job in the top 5. She really deserved to be in the top 3. But the org, didn't want another SUPPOSEDLY ASIAN girl who sounds like a Miss Teen Iowa or Miss Teen Missouri runner up to sell the pageant to markets, who can't relate to how pageants are worth living for.
