@@yourcardealerbond718 How long does the LLC process take? I just did it and I have done my lifescan at some place because the PD only does it to city employees. I als have another question, How do i go about getting a bond.
@@alizilla599 usually 3 weeks to a month at most. You can go to dmvdealerbonds.com and that will plug you into the bond questions to get your quotes.

What infractions would make you fail a live scan? Speeding ticket/parking tickets (which I have a couple of..) illegal u-turn as well
Not exactly sure but I've seen duo's get approved as long as you don't have a suspended license or required by the court to have a breathalyzer.

@@stratman3771 Id find the workspace but wait as long as you can before jumping into the lease. There are other steps that can be done like your background check and completing the education requirement if any apply in your state.

I’m a CDL driver and got my background check finger printing done just a few months ago. Can I use that or do I need to go through it again?

I just recently obtained my dealer location, im currently stuck on the Director of Processing... question. Do i "need" a director or can i do it myself.
I want to know what is used car dealer signage business policy and as well what size does the signs have to be.
The signs have to be visible from 50 ft, 2ft x 2ft minimum. Hope this helps.

im in the process of getting my license. I have the sellers permit and did the livescan but i dont have an LLC. Do I need an LLC? If so, where do I apply?
You definitely don't need an LLC. You could start the business as a sole prop. Hope that helps.
Is this the one you get with you just want to bid at an auction like a police auction or just some sort of car auction for insurance companies irregardless if you're going to resell it or keep it is that the same license I imagine so
I got seller permit from California department of tax and fees also license is on the way abs dealer bond I got approved and office space I signed contracts with them as well they give me few parking lots permits the only thing is auctions access I guess I have to apply dmv application for car dealer to vehicle dealer in order to get auction access

Great question. Most (if not all) California DMV inspectors do not require a business license anymore.
However I will say that having a business license is a requirement of the city you will likely start business in.
